I don't think he knows the answer to that yet. But they have to make a decision soon so the staff can prepare for the spring season.

Thats very short turnaround for playoff team going into the Fall. All just so you can be called somewhat of a "paper champion" because the season and playoffs are short. I guess that doesn't matter to players, since they just want to play play play

Keep your same offseason and signing period dates. The NCAA has already ruled that 2020 will not count against player eligibility, so we need to find a way to salvage these last three months.

That's not going to happen you can talk until you turn blue the SWAC and MEAC has laid out there format for the spring games.

Unless there is a spring Celebration Bowl to go to (which I seriously doubt would occur), there is no logical reason in my mind for the MEAC to divide into divisional play and then a championship game. The original idea of championship game may have sounded good at the time but I doubt a championship game would draw flies in the midst of a pandemic. If you're going to play in the spring at all, simply let everyone play a full seven game conference schedule with the winner going to the playoffs and everyone else attempting to finish impressively enough for an at large birth and call it a day. Just my opinion. MEAC gave up its AQ so there could be no auto bid for conference champ. We'd have to hope for an at large bid. Of course that's not possible with this schedule. Need to get rid of championship game! Commish as usual is following the SWAC. Hopefully there will be a CB?

All things considered I'd rather remain in the MEAC but on the flip side I'm happy as hail we will no longer be under Dr. Dennis Thomas's leadership.
