I watch the Campbell Game Minter is building some thing there .The QB is from ATL Young man is a player they have nice line with a 6ft 7 and 6 ft 8 lineman and good group of Fla Players. Just look at there Royster they look like a Contender in Big South..I wish we were playing ..but I understand. Campbell plays Coastal, App State and Wake Forest to finish the fall. Will they win one?

Coastal put a thumping on Kansas. They looked very athletic.

FYI: Campbell is back on TV tonight, playing Coastal Carolina at 7:30.
That would be two primetime spots in consecutive weeks for the Camels of Buies Creek.

Independent of COVID, I'm actually hatin' a little on the exposure Campbell is getting during this unusual year.

That could have easily been us. The networks are BEGGING for live content to show on their airways right now.
Campbell displayed some bold leadership by deciding to continue to play this fall and now their football program is reaping the rewards.

You still gotta factor in the extra costs with testing for Campbell and A&T. Plus, schools cut the money they’re spending for ooc games. Lastly, We still would’ve had to cut our admission and that would’ve made it almost impossible to generate a profit. I get the why behind playing but we aren’t a FBS school whose tv contract helps offset costs. With the school still losing a few million in revenue, they could lose more this year whether they play in the fall or spring. Don’t think for a second we won’t have any attendance restrictions. But whatever. Folks are going to do what they are gonna do. You know... Freedom.

Campbell is getting payed to play at Coastal Carolina...cost of testing for the entire season is probably covered in that one 6 figure check.

West Coast, you forget that A&T is practicing football everyday, right as we speak. We are still paying for COVID tests for the players and staff.
The only difference is Campbell is playing games on national TV during a pandemic and our guys are just working out on a practice field during a pandemic.

Where’s the money coming from and is the entire student body able to receive this same level of testing?

Yes, all A&T students and staff can be and are tested upon request or through contact tracing without exceptions or preferential treatment.
