Please keep the family of A&T alum and former NFL 1st Round pick Jamain Stephens, Sr. in your thoughts & prayers. This is at the core of everything we're dealing with right now. -------------------------- Nick Bromberg Yahoo Sports Sep 8, 2020, 5:49 PM California University of Pennsylvania announced Tuesday that player Jamain Stephens Jr. had died. He was 20. Stephens was set to be a senior in 2020-21. The school said the 6-3, 355-pound defensive tackle had played in 32 games throughout his career. He had three tackles in 11 games in 2019. "Jamain was such a wonderful student with a smile on his face every time you saw him," athletic director Karen Hjerpe said in a statement. "His personality was contagious and he made such a positive impact on everyone he met.” According to Stephens’ high school and his obituary in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, he died from complications of COVID-19. sports.yahoo.com/california-u-of-pennsylvania-player-jamain-stephens-jr-dies-after-contracting-covid-19-214903039.html

OMG...
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. The worse thing to do is to bury a child. Praying for his family and loved ones, which includes our own Aggie Family and former teammates of his Dad.

Sad day for his family and friends. He seems to have been well liked by the school's admins and teammates. The national news show MSNBC reported the sad news during their mid-afternoon national news coverage. They reported that he died from COVID-19 complications.
