You guys are sleeping on the white old school joint. It would look ice cold with the all-white jersey and pants combo. This is tight, only change would be to put the old interlocking "A&T" in the hat. I always thought the "Christmas tree" A&T was the ugliest thing in creation, we only used it for a season or two before transitioning to what you see today.

You are fundamentally changing the Aggie blue with that look. That is a big difference from the previous navy shade.

Yes. That's what the new jersey does. I personally like a darker navy, but if they move back to a more royal blue this is a better look for me.

Thriller this new look in my opinion is High School period.I don't see Alabama , LSU, USC, Penn State changing there look or there color shades. We need to stop with this follow the leader BS . Because we are in the Big South that does not mean we should go there looking like Bama's that's just my opinion.

Well Southern looks worse, way worse. LOL! I still think our best look is the all white with navy trim, navy helmet. Although the all gray grew on me as the year went on.

I believe that the university and alums should call for a Moratorium on the selection of football uniforms, and for that matter, any other sport's uniforms for A&T. Especially, since we don't seem to know what our school colors are. We need to hire a fashion designer to design a uniform befitting our stature in collegiate athletics. Don't allow students, administrators (especially athletics) and unqualified alums/fans make the decision. Because look at what we have come up with recently. It is a wonder the arena in Atlanta didn't collapse on top of our team in those ugly uniforms that they wore in the bowl game. Seeing them in a replay on television was an insult to an outstanding football team. The score made up for that fiasco. Now we are stealing Southern University's colors. Need to redo or change the name on the front of the jersey. Looks like something a prison might do for their uniforms. We need to hire a fashion designer and make sure we know our colors. Speaking of colors. Does anyone think that players will tell alabama, clemson, notre dame, and especially the four acc teams in this area to change their school colors?

To be fair, the unis actually use the official NC A&T SU color swatches in our Brand Guide: www.ncat.edu/about/leadership/chancellor/university-relations/brand-standards-and-guidance/ncat_brand_guideThe previous uniforms and helmets used a darker blue. Also, the gray we wore last year is part of our brand.

But this Middle School look is just not doing it for me .

Just passing through...I have no dog in this fight, but from an outsider point of view, I like what A&T did with the uniforms outside of the “SU” on the Jersey. Changing the blue to match the university official style guide is smart from a branding perspective and yes, P5 programs have done the same thing (Florida State is a great example). We’ve also done the same thing at FAMU (notice the darker shade of green and slightly different orange) after years of different shades of green floating through the department and on paraphernalia. It’s not changing your colors, it’s simply making your brand look consistent.
And no, you guys look nothing like Southern as they wear Columbia blue which is actually closer to UNC’s Carolina blue.
Also the simple, clean and classic look is the current trend in athletics right now. Your new uniforms follow that trend.

Actually, the color is a dark royal blue. Actually, there's a royal NAVY color that's a little darker and prettier than that! And, those helmets, whatever the chosen color, make it a super hard finish so it won't show ugly scratches!
