The Lee County kid went the junior college route. Barrett (ECU transfer) sat out last year (red shirt). Don't forget about incoming freshman Wesley Graves from Danville, Va. He's a bull in china shop tough as nails runner. a1, i agree with you about graves. if he is anywhere near as good as he looked on his high school video, then this kid could step in as a "true freshman" and have major impact immediately. he reminds me of cartwright but with much better "break away speed" than cartwright... I'm not even worried about this grave kid taking mr. ACC wake forest product Courtney McKinney spot. Bouyce maybe in trouble

Did any of them see the field last year at RB ? If not the slot is up for grabs . TJ Boyce looked good as the third string backer in the Howard game. Scored a long TD. Tough runner

Wait...why did I think we signed the kid out of Lee County High School...? Did he go elsewhere...? Dude was a stud at runningback and this should be his freshman year...I think? Anybody? What about Cam Hutchinson, the RB from Havelock High who we signed in the 2019 class. Did he redshirt last season? Is he still with us? Quit after a week of training camp. He’s playing elsewhere now and it seems to not be Division 1

Its McKinney and then everybody else. Assuming if we do not have any summer games some of these guy can give out there redshirt year Its McKinney and then everybody else. So wait a minute if we talking 2021 fall assuming there is no 2021 springs games this list could change for incoming 2021 freshmen and Transfers. Thrilla do you have those 2021 commitments? Assuming there is no Spring games 2021 those that are eligible could use there redshirt for fall 2020. Khalil Barrett (R-FR) (2021 R-So) Jaelin Bumper (JR) (2021 could be R-Jr) TJ Boyce (R-SO) (2021 R-Sr) Shemar Thompson (SO) I don't know his status Courtney McKinney (R-SO) (2021 R-Jr) Only saw Shemar on campus once last year in like August. Other players say that they had never even see him before when mentioned. He’s probably not going to be there.

In my mind martin is gone so Mckinney needs a 1 two punch maybe this kid if he is good as advertise may move up to that #2 spot. I just saw his video if he improves techniq and get into the weight room like Martin. He can be very close to being another Martin product. It is ridiculous how much talent we have overall. I dont ever remember having this much talent end to end. According to Aggie One he is a 2020 product assuming we do not play in the spring he should be a R-2021 next fall.

I don't know when the combine invitations are handed out. The very fact that he did not play this fall he must go and showcase that he belong in the NFL. I don't know any player that are invited to the combine that do not get drafted. If he is invited he must go. Some people on this board seem to think you either play spring game or go the combine. Scouts are going to put more weight on you going to the combine where you are compared to your nfl peers than playing spring exhibition games how our AD has put it. Now you raise some good points if we play in the spring should he risk injury, will the MEAC or NCAA given this unusual situation allow Sr.(s) to attend the combine and still play football in the Spring your guess is good as mine. All I do know if he is invited he must go. Trust me if Cohen is in his ear you know what he is telling him what to do.

I wouldn't he has to much to lose and there is no reward and a lot of risk ! Martin is set what more does he have to prove ? It would be a total disservice to the young man if our coaching staff tried to entice this young man to play . All of my faith in Washington and his staff would drop from a 10 to a 5 on the trust scale in my opinion just saying.

We have at least three coaches on staff that played professionally. They won't steer him wrong.
