EAST GREENSBORO – The North Carolina A&T Aggies baseball program has announced its 2020 recruiting class. The large class includes five transfers and eight high school players.
"Really excited and thankful for the work our staff has put in on this class," said head coach Ben Hall. "Jamie Serber, Stefan Jordan and Marquis Riley deserve a lot of credit for their hard work. We work as a team in recruiting and it shows in this class. This group brings a lot of talent to AggieLand, but most importantly is made up of high character young men and families."
The transfers are Cameran Brantley (5-foot-10, 195, OF, Charlotte, N.C., Ardrey Kell HS, Florida Southwestern State College), Xavier Bussey (5-11, 195, OF, Garner, N.C., Garner HS, Pensacola State College), Daniel Carter (6-foot, 180, LHP, St. Pauls, N.C., Lumberton HS, Southeastern Community College), Trey Fields (5-10, 185, RHP, Englewood, Fla., Lemon Bay HS, South Florida State College) and Grant Tilley (6-foot, 210, 3B, Belmont, N.C., South Point HS, Catawba Valley Community College).
The high school players are TJ Ash (5-10, 175, OF, Pleasant Garden, N.C., SE Guilford HS), Isaiah Brewington (6-3, 185, RHP, Clayton, N.C., Corinth Holders HS), Shemar Dalton (5-foot-10, 185, OF, Walnut Cove, N.C., South Stokes HS), Logan Griffith (5-10, 170, OF, King, N.C., West Stokes HS), Derek Martinez (5-11, 225, LHP/1B, Greensboro, N.C., Ragsdale HS), Xavier Meachem (5-11, 200, RHP/3B, Winterville, N.C., South Central HS), Matt Parsons (6-3, 226, 1B, Simpsonville, S.C., Hillcrest HS) and Trevor Sheehan (6-foot-1, 185, INF, Holly Springs, N.C., Holly Springs HS).
