He needs to move on....Im tired of hearing the same sad song over and over again. What is his plan to make the conference relevant and attractive for athletes and non athletes. He is living in the past versus the present. theundefeated.com/features/whats-next-for-meac-commissioner-dennis-thomas-says-dont-panic/These are questions often asked about the relevancy of HBCUs now that so many Black students attend PWIs. That question is being answered affirmatively in the current Black Lives Matter climate when students — including high-profile athletes — are discussing empowerment and supporting Black institutions as part of what they are looking for in a college experience. Whenever he meets with commissioners from predominantly white conferences, Thomas says, he makes the point that the only thing that stands between them competitively is Black recruits.

The next time I hear an actual plan from Dennis Thomas ... will be the first time I hear an actual plan from Dennis Thomas.

Our chancellor's and presidents of the MEAC should also share the blame for it's demise and teams booking up.
They should have fired Thomas years ago. Now it is too late.

It's never to late to replace a ineffective engine for a new one . It all depends on how much you like the body design of the car. The MEAC has always been a conference with one group trying to work as a team and a few teams that were all about Me and what can you do for me and as long as they got what they wanted why get rid of Thomas but now action is needed . The MEAC is not died and the exiting of 4 teams maybe the best thing for the MEAC going forward if handled properly.

Saabman, "and as long as they got what they wanted, why get rid of him?"
Exactly what I was expressing about the chancellors and presidents also being guilty of teams exiting the MEAC and possibly it's demise.
