The NFL might have a chance to have some fans at their game. You line fans up at 8:00 AM to get tested and they might know the result at 11 AM which is good enough to get in the stadium. I think a sport like Volleyball and Bowling could start on time. That will work only if you quarantine those fans during that waiting period . Let's say fans get tested ,then go tailgate for several hours ,they could possibly be infected during that waiting period .

Let's say fans get tested ,then go tailgate for several hours ,they could possibly be infected during that waiting period . They don't need several hours to become infected after testing all it takes is that one false negative . If a fan gets tested he/she should continue to practice social distancing or isolation as if all are positive. Being truthful there is no way to guarantee fan safety even with the testing because the virus continues to mutate and evolve. The sensible thing to do is to just call this season a rap until there is some sort of control or vaccination/ cure found .
