I think they are looking at the student activity fee which is around $100. The full Athletic Fee for Central is still on the bill (again don't ask). They are all state schools, so that fee will be charged consistently. I think they cut the athletic fee, only makes sense tried to tell you guys

The fee is there. I’m literally looking at it on the bill. It’s $423. They are probably talking about the student activity fee.

You have a child at A&T and central? I have a child at Central and relatives at A&T. They are both apart of the NC School System. Everything is the same. They had a recorded town hall today at 2:00pm. Hopefully it will be posted soon. The direct question was asked and answered. Not sure why this is so hard to understand. The student athletes still have to be accounted for. The facilities still have to be maintained. The fee is needed 🤷🏽♂️

So, in a year with no ticket sales they are going to volunteer to reduce the fees. Okay... The bills are printed out, if they get reduced I’ll be shocked. They’ll be in the minority for schools in NC being generous and this is the same school with a Game Zone. But again, the question was asked and answered. A reduction was not the answer.

We're going to be in a good spot as we're getting over $5 million added to the athletics budget. If we're still selling season tickets for football, we could be seeing $6.5 Million in revenue this fall while spending 0 for travel or operations.

That's sad right there . How much more are the students to bare. Did the student Body Representatives have any input on this at all ?

Fees support the program ... No fees , you can kiss the Golden Years goodbye. ... All coaches are working all athletes are in school .. Release the athletes is the only choice you have but those fees are all you have ...

It's an annual fee split in half. Not a semester based fee. Annual expenses will still be incurred as long as we have coaches getting paid and students getting scholarships. The other in-season expenses for the fall sports will simply shift to the spring. Fees are legitimate.

Don't these fees support non-athletic events also?
