A&T would normally do the local AAF signing party either the evening of or the day after but with everything and everybody in a constant state of flux due to the pandemic I would not expect to see anything like that this year. With the condensed spring football season almost upon us, the start of high school football being delayed in North Carolina until the last week of this month along with the overloaded transfer portal, expect to see most all of the news of signings released over the university's athletic department social media platforms and not in the traditional formal setting, virtual or otherwise.

I don't really care, as long as they get announced tomorrow. The next day, or after, is too much suspense for me! Barely hanging on as it is.

I am ready to see what AggieEmpire got cooked up. The Graphics from last year are a pretty high bar.

We're still keeping tabs on a few high school kids during this spring season. We might not be quite done yet.

You can forget about Mekhi Wall. He is in Power 5 territory.
I spoke with Summers Friday and he is still waiting on his first D1 offer.
BTW: Summers is the best pure football player I have seen with my own eyes this spring. He's probably a legit 5'8 and would probably clock in at around 4.5 - 4.6.
But none of that matters when he is on the football field. Natural baller.

Does A&T need another running back? We will have 5 on the team next year.

He's super intelligent and he comes from a great family. His dad was one of the founders of the Greensboro Ravens youth football organization.
My guess is that his size and 40 time were the two biggest red flags on his scouting reporting.
He is still only about 5'7 - 5'8, but he worked extensively with speed coaches over the past summer and now has become a homerun hitter out of backfield.
Last week against a 4-1 SW Guilford defense, he had three touchdown runs of over 30 yards each. Nobody has caught him from behind this season.

He's a natural born football player. Forget offense or defense; imagine a kid like that just flying down the field on your special teams.
Sometimes you have to look past all the measurements, and just go after the best football players.
