That is great news... still got to sign him and he is going to get a lot of negative feedback between now and November Take a read of the article in USA Today. It seems to talks about some of your concerns. It reminds me of when the NCAA mandated that all college programs should have their day in the sun by being televised on Saturday. How much teams were paid for each televised game was based on their division assignment, D-1A, D-1AA, or DII. The MEAC was founded based on the premise that they would be able to play on Saturday and receive a nice D-1AA payment. The SWAC had that same vision. Well as you know the P5 schools said no way are we sharing any revenue with any of those lesser conferences/schools. They informed the NCAA that they will arrange their own television contracts. That guaranteed money and television was going to allow the MEAC and SWAC to put their athletic programs on a path to grow and thrive. Greed and afraid that the better those programs became would lead to big competition for recruits. The article is about Makur Maker.

When Black folks look like they're going to win the game, change the rules (or assassinate somebody).

Finally, a brave young 5 star talent goes against the grains of "modern day slavery" in sports by pwi schools and chooses a HBCU to take his basketball talents.
Howard was rewarded with his pick and I hope they are successful with this gem so that other HBCU schools can land 5 star talented youth.
Before integration HBCU schools had talented 4 and 5 players on their teams. The pwi schools saw the opportunity to make money off of their backs and integrated the system.
If our youth with the help of their parents would pick HBCU schools over the pwi school's, the dominance of using black youth to make Big money would subside.
I just hope and pray that A&T can catch some of these future stars in all sports.

Lebron James son is on the clock to attend a HBCU NCCU top of list Aggies on the list with Duke Kentucky and UCLA. I think NBA will let High School kids jump straight to NBA in 2022..

Not all of them. It's projected that Bronny won't be a 5-Star kid, at least from what I've seen so we and those darn pigeons have a shot.

But, D. Wade's son is a little better than Bronny, at least right now anyway. But, what are the real chances of those guys coming to A&T?

The kid is good but not that good . Hale all 5 star players are not NBA or even G League ready . Remember 1. Jonathan Bender 2. DeSagana Diop 3. Kwame Brown 4. Sebastian Telfair 5. Bill Willoughby Should I go on . Lebron's son is not even close to the athlete his father is . Lebron caught 45-50 passes and received All-State recognition as a receiver as a sophomore He turned down offers to play football in college, after only playing the game for two seasons freshman and sophomore . His sons best bet is to attend college to better horne his skills .
