Club Corbett will seemingly fit right in.

One thing for sure, the coaches can't use facilities as an excuse as to why they can't recruit against their Big South counterparts.

Given how close these schools are, I can see packed games home and away. Also most conference games are played on THURSDAY and Saturday instead of Monday.

Heads up, Longwoods in the process of building a new arena like High Point did. It's set to be completed by 2022.

Yep, it will have a capacity of 3,000. An Alum donated $15 million to get it built. Which one of you Aggies is gonna step up??!! link

Say what you will about these Big South arenas but a lot of them have individual seat...no damn bleachers! And they look open and modern. They can't beat the atmosphere in Club Corbett but it will be nice to sit back in those nice seats and watch Coach Jones and the Aggies pimp slap some of these teams.

Similar to Campbell's facility, it was built in 2012 and is gorgeous and a really good atmosphere. Looking forward to some good matchups with y'all!

I know that this is off-topic, but...
I hope that the Big South gives us one concession that I've always argued with the MEAC commissioner about: Making sure that both of our basketball games against our top rival (Hampton, in this instance) will be played on Saturdays to max our opportunities to generate sold out games. (If nccu joins, this changes to the Buzzards.)
Every year in the MEAC, we played nccu on a Saturday night and a Thursday night. I felt that one of us gets screwed each season with this routine.

If NCCU joins, which I'm sure a lot of us think is a good possibility, I bet you guy's will play each other on Thursday night, both matchups. Because the Big South is on ESPNU nearly every Thursday night during conference play, per our agreement with ESPN. Aside from this past season, while UNCA has been rebuilding, both Winthrop/UNCA games were always scheduled on Thursday night so they could be on ESPNU. The conference was very strategic scheduling the matchup because it's such a good rivalry. I bet they'd do the same thing with you and NCCU especially. I would also bet that 1 game with NC A&T/Hampton will be on Thursday for national television potential.

Why not purchase a reserved seat ticket. Even better, buy a season ticket and enjoy the game. The atmosphere and food are great. I don't expect to see all of these schools packing our arena.

So it will be a min. before that happens.
