Visitor's bleachers was very small and those tickets went fast. Look like they had one set of bleachers that held maybe 200 visitors. There was another set of visitor's bleaches near the end zone that held maybe 50 more fans. That's it. I purchased reserved seats but they were on the home side. I think we will have to bring folding lawn chairs to most away games if we want to see the games. Man, I didnt think that many Aggies lived in Charleston... I wonder if playing CSU will help with the Low Country recruiting?

For those who attended, how did we fit at Charleston Southern? in that thang CRAMPED. Several went to sent on the home side for the game. The visiting football experience is gonna be lacking...but im still gonna pull up if i can I arrived to Charleston early to kill 2 birds with one stone and rode by the stadium on my way to the 1st bird. I almost passed out! My high school visitors side is twice as big as theirs. Of course, the 1st bird took longer than expected and I had to rush (some running) to get a decent seat. It had rained and they didn't have a walkway to get to the visitors side so I messed up my new "Aggie" sneakers getting to those little bleachers.

Wow! I knew they had smaller stadiums but sheesh!
We'll show up & show out at Hampton & Kennesaw State for sure.
I was at the Charleston Southern game last year. I saw that mud leading to the visitor side & sat on the home side. My lady & I were surrounded by Aggies so, yes, it was tight.

.....takin my Slip n’ Slide to Robert Morris and Monmouth Fell the fugg out !! That was some funny chit right there. What’s not funny is the size of these “Div 1” stadiums. I see myself watching a lot of Aggie games on TV.

Would it be worth considering each Universities student Enrollment numbers to justify their stadium size?

Traveling to Charleston is a 3 to 4 hour drive, depending on your travel route and speed. These stadiums are very small and we will have to live with their inadequacies. They appear to be attractive facilities. However, we are not able to see everything. To me, NCCU and Howard's facilities match up well with the BS's stadiums. Problem is, those two universities try to squeeze about 5-6K more fans into their already over crowded stadiums.

Correct me if I am wrong. When the MEAC moved up to Division I football, I thought the criteria was that all stadiums had to hold at least 17,000 spectators.
Did something change because I am not the only one who has this belief.

Did something change because I am not the only one who has this belief. "To maintain FBS status, a school must average 15,000 in paid or actual attendance a game at least once every two seasons. The NCAA used to require Division I-A schools to have a stadium with a minimum capacity of 30,000, but that rule was scrapped in 2004. FCS has no attendance requirements." www.sportsrec.com/division-1-college-football-requirements-6660709.htmlI'm still trying to search ncaa.org for further verification.

Man, I didnt think that many Aggies lived in Charleston... I wonder if playing CSU will help with the Low Country recruiting? I was surprised to see so many brothers there were on Charleston Southern's team, football staff and in the band. If we keep kicking their butts and next time bring the BGMM, we will definitely improve our recruiting in that area. By the way, I think we have an alumni chapter in Charleston but I don't know how active they are.

There are a lot of Aggies that live in Charleston. Back in the mid 60's there was a Charleston Club on campus.

You both are correct.
