Wake Forest will host North Carolina A&T at BB&T Field in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024 (or Aug. 29-30). The Demon Deacons will pay the Aggies a $325,000 guarantee for playing the game, according to the copy of the contract. In their first and only meeting on the gridiron on Sept. 18, 2004, Wake Forest defeated North Carolina A&T 42-3 in Winston-Salem. North Carolina A&T, a historically black college and university (HBCU), is located in Greensboro, N.C., about 36 miles away from Wake Forest. The Aggies currently compete in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Association (MEAC), but are moving to the Big South Conference beginning with the 2021 season. OSA, there you go again, elevating the opponent's program over A&T's. You always find away to tear down A&T's achievements.
WE AIN'T NO JOKE NOW DAYS EITHER!!

wake forest ain't no joke nowadays... no question we are a better team than we was when we played them. OldschoolAggie is right Wake F. is a much better team as well. We have to be realistic. FBS Teams in the past I would not want to play now. Appalachian, UNC, Wake Forest I would much rather play ECU, Liberty, Coastal Carolina, Duke, UNC charlotte, Kent State But we are talking 2024 so who knows where each will be by that time.

Getting 200k plus to go less than 30 miles is awesome

Dooms, I don't think I was demeaning OSA. I know Wake has improved over the last few years and so have we.
Anything can happen on a given day.
Just reminding OSA he has a habit of glorifying the opponent instead of the Aggies.
That game is a few years away. If those real deal Brothers coming out of high school decide to go to HBCU schools it could be a different ball game.
With the climate of racism in the world today, we might get some of those power 4 and 5 players.
Don't count us out.
