Is the state going to determine the percentage of capacity allowed in the stadium or is the school?

no surprise ghoe activities got cancelled. a lot of the singing artists have to be booked "way" in advance, too much covid "uncertainty" to do that. then ya can't have "packed crowds" in corbett and the coliseum, definitely gotta call off those events. the outdoor activities aren't as risky, but some of the outdoor crowds are "shoulder to shoulder". that won't work either.
so its no surprise they're calling off ghoe activities. it'll be interesting to see how many folk will be able to get their hotel reservation deposits back, usually they are "nonrefundable", but so was my essence festival payments. but fortunately, essence festival refunded all of my hotel and concert tickets money which collectively amounted to more than $2,000.
so i was very "relieved" to get all of that money back. but i'm not too concerned about my ghoe hotel 2 night guaranteed reservations, i'll still attend the game, so i might as well keep them...

N.C. A&T and Winston-Salem State cancel their 2020 homecomings By John Newsom john.newsom@greensboro.com 8 min ago N.C. A&T drum major practices before the homecoming parade in Greensboro, N.C. on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Bernadine Hernandez/Special to News & RecordN.C. A&T and Winston-Salem State both announced Thursday that they have canceled the bulk of their homecoming events. The two universities said they won't hold their traditional week-long in-person homecoming celebrations this fall because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But both homecoming football games are still scheduled to be played. News releases from both universities are below. Here's the news release that A&T issued Thursday: EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (June 18, 2020) — In response to health and safety concerns relating to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will forgo all in-person homecoming activities for the 2020-21 academic year with the exception of the football game this fall.
“After a great deal of discussion, we believe this difficult decision is the appropriate route to mitigate and reduce the potential spread of COVID-19,” said Teresa Davis, associate vice chancellor for Alumni Relations. “Although we are deeply disappointed we will not be able to honor this highly-anticipated tradition, we believe if we make the necessary sacrifices now, we hope to be able to see everyone next year, with even more anticipation, excitement and enthusiasm.”Currently, the football game is scheduled to take place on Oct. 31, with reduced fan capacity, pending state restrictions. The departments of Athletics and Campus Enterprises will share additional details for the game, complete football season and related activities such as tailgating, operational plans and fan engagement at a later date. If we get over this for 2021, we need to have AggieFest in the spring to make up for the homecoming loss.

In the survey that was submitted, I suggested that we move the activities to a spring weekend associated with a basketball game. That's what schools do that don't have a football team (Paine College, Fisk...)

Yeah but the coliseum is indoor and attendance will be even more restricted than the outdoor football stadium. I don't think these restrictions will be any lighter even by the time the NCCU basketball game rolls around.

I feel sorry for our Big South GHOE opponent lol. They're going to catch GHOE 2.021 in full effect.
Believe it or not a lot of people are still talking about just showing up since they have the reservations and time off assuming phase 3 of reopening occurs in the month or so...

They are going to end up with more than theee days off once they catch COVID.
