the closet to it that was actually good was Juan Lanasza back in the late 80's but I think he was more like 6'10 from Puerto Rico

yeah, and back in the late 70's sinclair colbert was a legit 6'10" but he "could" definitely ball. he played with "bird", ron johnson, lj pipkin, and those guys. pretty sure he won at least 3 meac championships during his career at a&t. we used to play wssu every year back in those days and those games were straight up "fire"...

Ok, someone list the potential starting lineup for next season. My best guess to start the season: 1 - Kam Langley 6-1 Sr 2 - Kwe Parker 6-1 Sr 3 - Tyrone Lyons 6-6 Jr 4 - Quentin Jones 6-8 Jr 5 - Tyler Jones 6-8 Grad This is presuming that Blake Harris is not eligible for the fall. The main questions: 1. Is Ty Lyons a better option at the 3 than running a 3-guard lineup with Kam, Kwe, Tyler Maye AND Blake? 2. How much further along is Harry... and how fast will Harry & David Greer get up to speed? 3. How much PT will Fred Cleveland & Jeremy Robinson carve out in the rotation? But top to bottom... we are a better roster than we were last year, IMO.

Need all the inches we can get!

That 74-75 team (my freshman year)onsisted of a starting lineup of Colbert (6-10), Ron Johnson (6-8), James Sparrow (6-6), Ray Petty (6-0) and Allen Spruill at (6-4). That was a great team winning the MEAC title game over Morgan State and Marvin Webster in Baltimore by 4 points in a classic back and forth war.

I remember watching those guys play games at the Greensboro Coliseum. The lay up line before the game was phenomenal. It was like watching an all-star team.

If my memory serves me correctly, I think that might have been Dexter Boone. Stanley Parham had a big fro and sideburns too. I cant remember their hometowns.

Stanley Parham was from DC as well as teammate Willie Daniels and baseball player Aaron Ball.
