Just a thought. WSSU and UNC Pembroke just cancelled their game on Sept 5 due to the virus. I wonder if Shaw can not be able to play that game would we try to replace them with WSSU.
Pro Rivalry Teams only 20 miles apart
Con WSSU don't want to play A&T and NCCU back to back weeks on the road The gate will not matter this year since will be lucky to have 8K in the stands due to the virus Negotiation have been hard in the past Plus trying to pay off Shaw
Well this will never happen but you can dream about it.

Con Plus trying to pay off Shaw my thinking is if shaw backs out of the game "on their own", we shouldn't be obligated to pay them anything...

The current chancellor Dr Robinson is a NCCU graduate would agree to a payoff one game similar to the NCCU terms. I just hope Shaw does not cancel we need this game just to get Jalen F. acclimated otherwise we may get embarrass with liberty and north dakota state.

He has no interest in scheduling WSSU. Goes back to 2015 AAF annual meeting when he pretty much said scheduling WSSU is not on the agenda. Only one person in the room objected so I don't imagine his stance has changed.

This season is very close to being cancelled . Actually with all of the variables in play with regards to contractual obligations the legal principle of Force Majeure would render these interruptions as moot, in my considered opinion.

I can not see any rational thinking leader in there right mind that would subjecting other people's children left in there change students and athletes included to the possibility of being exposed to this virus by opening up A&T's campus let alone opening up to have a football season ? I grant you this by opening up A&T's campus and sports if things go south both the Chancellor and AD careers are over .

I grant you this by opening up A&T's campus and sports if things go south both the Chancellor and AD careers are over . A&T like all other UNC schools will open the campus per guidance from the UNC system. If A&T chooses not to open without that direction from the UNC system it could effect overall funding. I’m sure A&T and other UNC system schools would like nothing better than to go 100 percent online but the board runs the show.
