The only reason im iffy about this is because we are back to 3 Out of Conference games instead of 4.
but welcome to the Colonials, I guess...

They must expect a football team or 2 to drop in the future

I don’t know what to make of this move. Central may have been a better addition. Is the NEC that bad of a conference or is there more strategic positioning to this chess move than is obvious?

They must expect a football team or 2 to drop in the future They do. Most likely it will be Monmouth who has been seriously looking for a more regional fit for nearly two years now. Kennesaw has known FBS aspirations but isn't anywhere near ready talent or budget wise to make that kind of jump just yet.

You should expect and not be surprised that any of the schools who are currently provisional members for football only are more than likely temporary boarders (2-3 years max) as the realignment of some key FCS conferences, fueled by both increasing operational costs and Covid-19 fallout, will continue through 2022. This is only the tip of the iceberg of realignment. Any major moves among the schools that Aggie fans are most familiar with will most likely come next spring and summer once we emerge out the other side of this pandemic and recession.

I dont like the non-hbcu add on. As someone else stated, Now we can play a money game and then of course NCCU. Then we only have 1 hbcu left that we can schedule. That move was not good for our pockets. Thats if Monmouth and N Alabama stays of course

That move was not good for our pockets. Thats if Monmouth and N Alabama stays of course I keep telling you all. These white conf. are not interested in making this even look like a black conf. They are not going to be the fall out conf. for the poorly rank MEAC HBCU school. They will accepted ELON before NCCU,SC ST, and Norfolk. Why would you add Robert Morris what can they possible bring to the conf. Can you imagine if we played them for homecoming OMG!!!!!!! The only good thing if they keep adding schools it will be force to split this conf. up. That will cut back on travel and maybe give us room to play more money games. Old school Aggie where did you hear the Monmouth is leaving?
