oldschoolaggie The track will be similar in color to the previous one...Lanes will be light blue and the transfer zones are going to be medium blue. The infield will be a Cognac color as seen HEREView Attachment welp, i'm just happy that they're finally laying down a new track surface. i guess asking for more attractive colors might be asking for a bit too much, especially if it would cost more. so i suppose i can settle for the color scheme that you've posted, at least the infield will be a different color... I tend to like the solid color. The alternating colors seem gimmicky to me and more conducive to an indoor track. JMO

Looks like the track installation is almost done now. The only thing that's missing is the lines. Photos courtesy Dr. Michael Simmons.

Is that artificial turf or real grass? Didn't want to start discussion about the grass but if that is real grass, it looks great. So now we know the secret to having a field that looks good in the fall...keep every damn body off it for a full year!

The October picture is green. This latest picture is very light green-ish yellow. You gotta squint to distinguish the grass from the long jump area. LOL
