Okay, I am only looking at the Indoor track issue. Do you think there will be a savings on coaches/ trainers by eliminating indoor track? Those same people will be at the practice getting ready for outdoor track. And probably running unattached at indoor meets Thanks for the input

More savings on travel and scholarships of those who will want to transfer. Sometimes we cut just to say we are doing our part to help the overall university budget cuts. JMO...

Don't forget about the elimination of all those coaches salaries plus their administrative staff and the added general non-specific line item support associated with those sports. This move bears out how much they have invested and will continue to invest in their football program. Football is king in Boone. Everything else is a far distant second. The coaches and staff salaries should not change . Now the same thing can not be said about the support staff; they may see a reduction but not that much . Truthfully cutting Indoor track is not a Financial boost for the athletic department because no track scholarships will be lost .
