I can't even say it was dirty. The reaction from #22 on the Bears' return was that he knew he blocked dude from the Falcons in the back and was trying to put hands up to say "I didn't block him in the back". But he basically blocked him right into Tarik's leg.
It hurts.

It was the worst Sunday imaginable for a household of Tarik fans and Falcons fans. I just told my son and he literally yelled "WHHHYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?" Tarik's his hero.
At least as a Falcons fan he knows the sting of disappointment from an early age.
It's so fortuitous that Tarik signed that deal. He could mess around and get a master's degree while rehabbing if he felt so inclined, and not have to risk further injury. Here's hoping he comes back stronger than ever.

Man, my heart aches for this young man. However, I do think he will bounce back, I hope it doesn't mess with his psyche, he's never really had a serious injury his whole career. God works in mysterious ways though, man, not even a whole month after he signed his deal, which is the silver lining in the cloud.

This is shocking because to me Cohen has always been like a little Superman who could and did do it all on the football field. Get well soon, Tarik...

he's never really had a serious injury his whole career. actually, he did have a serious knee injury at a&t (that didn't require surgery) during his sophomore year that caused him to miss 1 or 2 games. if my memory serves me correctly, he got hurt playing against elon and i recall for sure that he missed the entire howard game that year because i remember cartwright starting in his place and played the entire game as a true freshman. i think tarik returned to action against scsu that year but he still wasn't 100% in that game...

True... but there's a major difference between a serious knee injury that makes you miss 1-2 games versus a catastrophic ACL injury. That's the point that ohsixrain was trying to make and it's legit. Prayers to Tarik & his team to continue keeping his spirits & motivation at the highest levels possible.

Given Tarik's mindset I'm sure he will work his butt off to rehab and come back strong ,I remember Thomas Davis (formerly with the Panthers)had 3 ACL injuries and came back to perform at a very high level . The Kidd has the heart of a lion .
