i think his extra weight is primarily "muscle". nobody runs as "fast" as he runs at over 220 lbs if there's a lot of fat on his bones. and btw, critique of recruits is what message boards are made for, nothing wrong with that whatsoever. recruits luv when fans care and anxiously anticipate their arrival.
if nobody cared about the kid and didn't show the kid some preseason "luv" like they do at any other d1 school, dude wouldn't feel appreciated. the moment dude committed to a d1 school, he "instantly" became a "public figure" and fan critique comes with that territory...

I guess some have that old mentality that something must be wrong that a kid that big fast and talented would make A&T has first choice so it must be his size or his lack of competition . How soon they forget that Tarik The Kid Cohan played at the 2 or 1A level . The only Things that change when a program is successful is your areas of recruitment expands but you leave no rock unturned.

Wesley Graves is a 5-10, 227 pound all-state power RB from George Washington HS (1-A) in Danville, Va. who has decided to cast his lot with A&T. He actually signed with us back on national signing day and I strongly suspect he will redshirt this season but he should be major contributor once we enter the Big South next year. He rushed for 1526 yards and 33 TDs on 168 carries (9.1 yds per carry). For a career, he rushed for 4959 yards and 68 TDs over three years. He also carries a 3.3 GPA. Senior year highlights: www.hudl.com/video/3/9540050/5dfba7ffda50cc0e58fc325eJunior year highlights: www.hudl.com/profile/9540050/Wesley-GravesAggie was this guy offered scholarship Washington made it very clear he did not have any more scholarship to offer in the Feb. Meeting. Also who is this 6-9 guy talking about. You know you get my attention if he is a OL that size. Wesley Graves is good but he will be redshirted T.J. Boyce come out the block much faster than this kid. His foot work is average.

Let us agree to disagree Graves running style and foot work looked fine to me he as that Jerome Bettis aka The Bus swag when running. This kid may see some playing time past the 4 game maximum . It's going to be interesting training camp this season .

Any update on this kid? is he in school? He’s posted pictures of himself at camp on Instagram and he has NCAT in his bio so I think he’s good to go

Any update on this kid? is he in school? I've been to 3 practices and seen him in 2 of the 3. He's like former cowpoke RB Robert Newhouse.
