reportedly, nc state only paid $14 million for their indoor facility which is not only used for football, but also for track and field too. if my memory serves me correctly, we are trying to raise $20 million for an aggie stadium enhancement. well, why not use those funds for an indoor practice facility right next door to aggie stadium? well, at least a brutha can dream... checkout nc state's and unc's indoor facilities. wake forest, duke, and app state also have or are building an indoor practice facility...

i don't think $14 million is insurmountable. i thought the cost of an indoor practice facility was a lot more expensive than that and essentially outta reach for us. but i don't think $14 million is completely outta reach for us.
not only is an indoor facility less expensive than the planned aggie stadium enhancement ($20 million versus approximately $14 million), but an indoor practice facility is more needed and would be more useful than the planned aggie stadium enhancement. it could also be used for indoor track season...

I'm a proponent of an indoor practice facility.
But given the state of the economy due to COVID-19 and the recovery time once we ever get clear... this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the list right now.

I vision a multiuse facility for physical education school of nursing and nanotechnology to be State funded not state assisted. In fact given the direction of the track and field this is a no brainer. Why not?

Why not? wow, i'm interested to know how you propose getting the state to fund an indoor practice facility. apparently you're envisioning the school of nursing and the nanotechnology school (which we jointly run with uncg) as users of this proposed facility. my only question is how so? how would nursing and the nanotechnology school use an indoor practice facility?

If you’re referring to the Aggie Dome, it is already in the works to become a practice facility for sports not including track, football, and basketball

School of Nursing could engage in Gerontology studies walking active activities with aging population relative health issues unique to that population. Academic building to be state funded. Still do see why UNC-G has become technology oriented. Trick play to maintain control over our continued growth and development academically. It could be built similar to an aircraft hangar.

I agree sooner then later if we want to continue recruiting high lever 3 star maybe 4 star(1 or 2) players indoor facilities will be a requirement. We cant compete with the ACC schools but there are a lot of FCS schools that currently have indoor football facility including Tenn. State. www.hfrdesign.com/portfolio/tsu-indoor-football-facility/Does anyone know if any of the schools in the big south has a indoor facility?

We got so many small things that need fixing or updating with the stadium right now. A simple monitor at concessions showing the scoreboard feed might pay for itself in extra concessions because people wont miss part of the game standing in line for 30 minutes. Not to mention the track meets would love extra monitors so they can stay out the sun in June and July. And why do I feel like I'm at a gas station window at the concessions? OK, I'm bored and rambling.
