We wil crank on anybody anywhere. not at big south schools unless you have their "permission". did you attend the coastal carolina game at their place the last time we played them? if so, then you witnessed the bgmm being virtually "silent" in the stands and you also witness the bgmm sitting "silent" in the stands at half time and not performing. the big south is an entirely different "culture". ask a typical big south student or alum what the "5th quarter" is and they'll look at you as if you're crazy... I remember a lot about our last visit to CCU, which included BGMM playing in the stands, and also performing during halftime on the field. Here’s the link for the halftime show youtu.be/ab4mRqe0v7k

Besides Central and why? Any other non MEAC HBCUs would you like to see us schedule? There is an article in the Orangeburg Times and Democrat by Bill Hamilton about us wherein Coach Pough is throwing shade can it put the link here but it is worth reading. Next week's article will be about the rivalry. Worth your time to read.

Here’s the link for the halftime show youtu.be/ab4mRqe0v7ksorry, i meant also to include the word "virtually" did not perform at halftime. the attached video is the "entire" bgmm half time performance, 6 minutes long! think about that? "6 minutes long"! i was at that game which was "hot and humid as hail" and the bgmm did not perform in the stands anywhere near as much as they do at any hbcu game. and when was the last time the bgmm performed a "6 minutes long" half time show? that's my point. all the aggies at that game were complaining about that and the fact that the bgmm hardly performed very much in the stands. we were all complaining that the bgmm came all the way to myrtle beach (conway) to sit in that "hot and humid weather" only to sit on their hands in the stands and perform "6 minutes" at half time. like i said, the big south is an entirely different "culture". folk can act like "business as usual" in the big south all they want, but it won't be...

Most of us weren’t privy to the actual negotiations with the Big South, but being that we will come into the conference with the largest enrollment and fan base, that equals “influence”. Dr. Martin knows how important the BGMM is to our fans and alumni. Somehow I believe that we will have a huge impact on the culture of the Big South! It’s not gonna be all the way MEAC, but it’s definitely not gonna be the old Big South.

Central is Number 1...If i were Hilton, the day after the Big South Announcement, I would have been on the phone laying the groundwork for a nice multi-year (6+ Year) home and home deal with the Birds in both Football and Basketball.
As for Other MEAC schools, Im okay with Norfolk as long as they are opposite years that we travel to Hampton. SC "Steat" fits our new BS footprint so im okay with them, the rivalry with FAMU is heating up and i would hate to lose them. I think it would be great to rotate an HBCU for GHOE...
Although this is about MEAC schools, I think we need to look outstide the MEAC and get some big draw SWAC/Tenn. State matchups as well. Southern, Jackson, Grambling, Alcorn or the Bama Schools would be nice to rotate some Home & Home games with.

The only thing that worries me is if A&T moves away from playing other FCS HBCU's in OOC games . I don't know why I feel this way but ( and I hope I am wrong) but I can see a day when A&T has no FCS HBCU's on the schedule other then Hampton with this administration. Just my opinion.

Besides Central and why? Any other non MEAC HBCUs would you like to see us schedule? As a bonus question, do you all think we could (or should) leverage our success in Atlanta by engaging Tenn State or Alabama State or Florida A&M in an annual Classic game in MB Stadium? It would be nice since the fan base is conditioned to a yearly Atlanta game. However, imma say no because: 1. Stadium Rental costs are too high for us to underwrite ourselves 2. Kennesaw state is outside of Atlanta and going to that area twice every other year won't work financially plus the DMV Aggies would be pissed 3. Its my understanding that The 100 Black Men of ATL are all in with the CB, which is why there is not longer an Atlanta Classic Unfortunately, as much as we like playing in Atlanta, our lease to the benz is up in 2021 and we'll be giving back the keys...

Is it a possibility it could happen? Maybe, but I think our Athletic Dept. Is smart enough to know that the fan base ain't going for it...the only way I can see it done and sold to everyone is going FBS

According to AD Hilton on the Aggie Pridecast, we'll be playing Central every year, and several other MEAC schools are interested in playing us as much as possible. He said where it fits our recruiting footprint we'll try to play them too.

Yeah, Central wasn't about to miss out on that payday. That would have been foolish of them, their AD just like Hilton makes good decisions.
