Before the Coronavirus, they were making progress on the new Engineering Building. Did the construction stop? What's the status?

It shouldn't have any effect , they are outside and are able to maintain social distancing .

Construction of the new engineering building, Eric, is progressing at a frantic rate. If they have fallen behind schedule, I don't see it.

To kill time yesterday and to feel "normal " again, I drove to Greensboro and around campus. Got a chance to see the new Engineering building. It's up and they are working on the interior and exterior. It's a massive building but at this point...it's butt ugly! I know it's not finished but I hope when they do, it's as impressive as the new student Union. This is our flagship program and the first thing visitors will see coming down Market Street. I want guess driving past it to be amazed!

There is a picture of the building outside of the construction fenced area at the intersection. I don't think that it has been removed.

There are multiple pictures (25 PLUS) painted on some sort of screening material attached to the fence surrounding the construction site.

The most time consuming and costliest part in constructing these new buildings is usually carving out and putting in the foundation around the constantly changing weather conditions.
