I’ve had THREE (3) ACL and MCL tears before the age of 32. No matter how old the person is, it takes time to recover.

i just hope they don't try to bring him back before he's 100% healthy. i'm anxious to see him on the football field again, but not before he's ready...

That's the one thing that is working the most against him right now.

That's the one thing that is working the most against him right now. Unfortunately I agree with you 100%. You could just watch how he ran and see a significant difference. Always will be my favorite Aggie athlete, but that commitment to his craft needs to be there.

That's the one thing that is working the most against him right now. I think is words are being taken out of context. The recovery time for a level 3 MCL is 6 months to a year and you can tack on another 6 months for a level 3 ACL surgery if needed , been there done that . It is hard to do the proper conditioning especially on the lower body core muscles. Therapy is one thing conditioning is another . So I can understand what he is saying but I would not have used those exact words. Recovery takes time it is better to comeback ready late , then to comeback to soon and exacerbate the situation .

Would Stem Cells be a possibility?

Would Stem Cells be a possibility? Basically a knee injury takes time to heal. I've had knee surgery for meniscus tear and strict adherence to rehab regimen is mandatory. One has got to be all in and be patient. This is why given medical advances I raised the viability of Stem Cell is this regard as an alternative approach. The same applies for knee replacement surgery as well.

The Chicago Bears have been without one of their dynamic weapons in running back Tarik Cohen, who suffered a torn ACL in Week 3 of last season. Tarik’s Recovery Timetable

i'm very concerned about my dude, cohen. good thing he signed the contract "extension". but if he's not fully 100%, then keep him on the ir list until he is...

He should not come back if he is not healthy, period! A healthy Tarik is much better than a 80% body…
