We watched him develop over 3 seasons into a great asset. I wish him the best in the future.

What a great pick up by the A&T,... even when things didn’t go his way, you could always tell he had it in him. Hate to see him leave, but I understand him doing what it takes to get and do what he wants. Lived what’s known as a kickers dream, and that is kick the game winner as the clock run out.

Best wishes sir.
According to the Georgia State 2020 schedule, Mr. Ruiz will have an opportunity to kick against the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa on September 12 and he'll be back in the Carolinas at Charlotte on September 26.

I remember how distraught he looked in his first CB, but he became a weapon after that. That's stepping up. He will be missed.

I remember how distraught he looked in his first CB, but he became a weapon after that. That's stepping up. He will be missed. Man I remember his look on the sideline during that game. Even the TV announcers were feeling sorry for him. They sounded like they were hoping that the game didn't end up with him having to kick the winning field goal. Hell, all of us were hoping that! Not only did he come back the next season but the players and coaches stuck by him. And he came through for us. He hit lots of important field goals but he'll always be remembered for that game winner at the end of the Elon game.

It's kinda like cheating because he'll probably make the A&T and Jawja State athletic hall of fame lol.
Fare thee well young man! If you roll past Stone Mountain tell 'em DOOMS said he ain't never comin back.
