Well I havent been able to locate the MBB tie breaker rules on the MEAC website, so not sure how these last 3 games will effect the regular season title and tournament seeding.
There are three teams in contention for the regular season title, N.C. A&T, NCCU, and NSU. This by the way is the perfect storm for the MEAC.
It's essentially a race to 12 wins, at worst current conference leaders at 11 wins, NCAT or NCCU will end the regular season with 12 wins (if both lose Monday NCCU to BCU and NCAT to SCSU), they will meet on Thursday with one team earning their 12 conference win.
NSU (10 wins) would need win out at DSU on Monday and at MSU on Thursday to get to 12 wins. DSU should be W, MSU on the road not as easily determined.
However as previously stated NCAT as well as NCCU control their own destinies by winning out and getting to 13 wins and being outright MEAC regular season champs and #1 seed in the MEAC Tournament.
If NCAT and NCCU both win their Monday games (12 wins), the loser of the Aggie/Eagle would lock themselves into the #2 seed based on head to head with only team that can get 12 wins NSU. Which would mean the nationally televised Aggie/Eagle in Durham would be the regular season title championship game.
These are your likely top 3 seeds in the 2020 MEAC Tournament we just have to see how where they finish.
There is the outside chance that NSU splits and finishes with 11 wins, FAMU beats BCU for 11 wins, BCU wins out for 11 wins (which would eliminate FAMU from this scenario), and whichever NCAT/NCCU team may lose both last games stuck on 11 wins, would bring in some crazy tirbreaker for #2 seed.
There's even the scenario where NCCU loses to BCU (11 wins) and NCAT wins at SCSU (12 wins). If NCCU then beats NCAT, both teams would have 12 wins and own tiebreaker over possible 12 win NSU, but would have split season series head to head. Enter more crazy MEAC tiebreaker. Cant find if they go to record against common opponents next or what.
Let the Madness begin its March folks.

First tie beaker overall record ? Lol, it might be. 1st tiebreaker is "head to head" which we "currently" have over nccu and nsu. so even though we have the same meac record as nccu, technically we're in 1st place. but beyond the 1st tiebreaker? perhaps overall record, i dunno. big game for our aggies tonight and it won't be easy...

TRUE...the first tiebreaker is head-to-head. If we win tonight in Orangeburg and Thursday in Durham, we're in.
But if we win tonight and get upset in Durham, I'm not sure what that 2nd tiebreaker scenario is. But our key is not looking past the Bulldogs tonight!...AND REMEMBER, NCCU will have their hands full fending off Bethune-Cookman tonight.

yeah, nccu beating bcu is no "gimmie". however, the buzzards will have home court advantage...
