Don't think we have ever (to my knowledge) made so many offers this early. Wonder if having more free time as a result of COVID19 has allowed the staff to evaluate talent earlier. If someone has said that my bad, don't have time to go back and look

If someone has said that my bad, don't have time to go back and look Here is the deal. There hasn't been a single camp yet due to Covid-19 and thats normally when the offers start coming. After kids hit the camps and coaches see the eye test and not just film, thats when offers normally start rolling in. So I assume that most schools are not planning on having their camps this year at all unless things open up quick. So if you are not having camp to see who is coming and/or who you can go look at you might as well start offering now. Our prospect camp is normally the 1st week in June. I dont think that's happening unless they push to July. Also.... No Rivals, No SparQ, No Opening, No VTO, etc. These kids cant even get re-starred this summer.

What I see is: 1. More offers to 3-star athletes with G5 schools on their list. Introducing the brand to a different set of households and high school coaches. 2. Offers to kids that have been offered by other Big South schools, giving them another BS choice. 3. High quantity of offers this early. We may ultimately offer 50 to get 20. In the past, we would offer 25 to get 15. 4. Still doing chicken by offering star players at the 2A level. 5. Offering more OL 6'5" and up
Question: For those still close to the recruiting game: Do high school coaches still screen offers for their players as much as they used to in the old days?

I see a shift to sign majority of Class in December or at least the top 10 players.

My son is in high school and NOTHING is final yet. Dont know if it will be shortened or if they will have a season at all yet. I'm just happy my son is not going to be a senior this year with this type of thing going on.

46 offers extended so far based on A1 tweets. Good grief!!! This Covid-19 pandemic may have a very positive consequence for us in the long-term and may lead to some really interesting and great signings.
