I can’t wait the debates between OSA and Trues over this kid and who else will be in the QB room Fall 2021.

Berkhalter is a big fast physical receiver who is a absolutle freaking nightmare to handle one-on-one.

i'm still a wilds-lawing fan as far as qb of the future goes, but the yeager kid will definitely push him. both of them have plenty to work on during their true freshman seasons (probably redshirt), but yeager needs to improve his passing mechanics, he has a "wind up" sling shot throwing motion even though he appears to throw reasonably accurately...

Yeah, I was just wondering how everyone forgot about Wilds-lawing that soon.
Hell, Ifedi and Fowler both still have two years of eligibility left.
Some of yall need to pump the brakes a tad bit.

I didn’t read where anyone said he should start as a true freshman? Just adding quality prospects to the roster.

When's the last time we got a top three recruit from any state, at any position? Minnesota (like much of the midwest) is a football rich territory. If this dude is legit, he's gonna challenge to start from day one. Everybody is going to need to step their game up....and that's a good thing.

This is a good problem to have. Competition never hurt anybody and Yeager is gonna push day-one.
I love it!

This is a good problem to have. Competition never hurt anybody and Yeager is gonna push day-one. I love it! I don't think we've ever had six guys in the QB room before that I can remember. Next year should produce a pretty darn good starting QB. Even this year, you should see Fowler be noticeably better because the room will have five QBs, Ifedi is not going to let Fowler waltz into the starting job without a fight. Also, Wilds-Lawing and Yeager could very well become the reincarnation of Raynard/Carter. An additional point is that I would anticipate Yeager to very much be a student of the game having been offered by Ivy League schools at the QB position. I would expect that conversation to add to the understanding of the whole QB room including nudging coaches in things such as explaining play design and film study.

Folks are underestimating Alston Hooker. Don't sleep on him. He's definitely going to be in the conversation.
