Man you seen his tape he look like David against Goliath. He is so big He almost has the size of a pro prospect.
There is a GOD he is so good to me. 6’9 345" I would love for him to get down around 300-310. But this is a match in heaven.
Coach MATTES says anyone over 6 5 are gone to the FBS before we can make a offer. He says it is very difficult to get a OL 66 67 that has good grades and talented.
BornThrilla they are out there we just have to make a offer.

We are making so many offers to a junior class before the season starts. This cant be normal, is it? And it's not just us. It's so many offers being made now it seems like there is very little room for that guy who waited his turn behind a stud, and then finally balls out his senior year to even get an offer. I guess the plus side of that is a lot of studs will still be in play after the high school year for us to scoop up when these guys have even BETTER seasons and bump up to Power 5 prospects only.
Is it because no one knows what Covid is going to do to the upcoming football season maybe?

COVID probably has a lot to do with it. But I also think it is Coach Washington taking his shot at the best recruits and being more bold about it. He even said in an interview that the move to the Big South is getting him in homes that he may not have gotten in before. The last factor is same thing that impacted the NFL draft. Teams picked more known quantities and some kids got left out. That may happen this high school recruiting season also. I do like the fact that we are still reaching down into the 1A and 2A levels to find diamonds in the rough.

I'm thinking because of the uncertainty surrounding fall sports on the HS level, I suspect many of the top recruits will be declaring early for those schools making early definitive scholarship offers. With the status of the HS football season up in the air, most of the successful college football programs, both FBS and FCS, are pretty much following the same pattern of trying to identify and sign the bulk of their recruiting classes from the already known rising senior talent pool headed into the early period in December. I see the same thing happening in basketball with AAU summer programs all but disappearing as well. It's very reminiscent of what happened in the NFL draft with nearly all the draft picks coming from FBS programs and very few from the FCS or D-2 ranks. Now that doesn't necessarily preclude the traditional signings we will see in February but in this very unique circumstance, this recruiting year will be substantially different from anything we've seen before and those signing in February numbers to be dramatically reduced among D-1 programs. Expect at the very least half, if not more, of the 2021 class to be signed before Christmas Day.

I do like the fact that we are still reaching down into the 1A and 2A levels to find diamonds in the rough. I think we have to upgrade our recruits. We can be potentially have three teams in the TOP 25 FCS polls including us once we are officially a part of the Big South Conf. That has never ever been the case in the MEAC !!( Monmouth and Kennesaw State are in the preseason FCS Top 10 currently) Not to mention Florida A&M recruits ranked in the Top 10 in the FCS!!!! That is huge!!!!! herosports.com/fcs/football-2020-recruiting-top-50-fcs-team-rankings-ajaj

The MEAC has had us, Hampton, and FAMU in the top 25 all at once before. I think on more than one occasion.
