This might be the single greatest home court advantage in the country right now.

Central was shook as soon as the game clock started running....buzzards didn’t stand a chance.. They may have been shaken tonight but Coach Moton has tape on us with a return game in Durham. Essentially, outside of seeding, this game really doesn't matter. We haven't beaten NCCU when it counted in Norfolk come march since 2013.

This might be the single greatest home court advantage in the country right now. It was a lot of fun to watch. I had flashbacks to the pig suit days.

Coach Jones caught Moten off guard with the full court pressure then weak side help in the 1/2 court.
Us not running the 1/2 court 1-2-2 trap through the Eagles for a loop

Did anybody see the Prarie View - Jackson State game following ours on ESPNU. Atmosphere totally different from Club Corbett. Nice gym, hardly no one in stands.
Club Corbett is on the 1.

The one thing people gone have a problem with is, is the whole broadcast was about Moton. He's overrated they want to make him something that he's not. Good guy good coach just not great.

Was out of town and made everyone watch this game. It did not dissapoint. We have televised games like that I don't care what conference we in -that atmosphere draws 25k applicants.
P.S. Kudos to whoever made our commercial. It was spot on and high definition quality. The buzzards commercial look like a high school video club put it together. It's easy to see how we set ourselves apart #AggieExcellence ..
Another great night at the buzzards expense!

i recorded the game last night and watched it after i got home from a game i officiated. was a very "good look" on tv, the espnu coverage of the game really enhanced our "brand" and should also enhance "recruiting". all those "fannies" in the seats gave our home court a "major d1" look and clubcorbett was off da hook!
relative to the game itself, we had 2 major advantages. obviously the clubcorbett home court was a big time advantage. but we also had an advantage relative to the "who wants it the most" perspective. we had more at stake than the buzzards, so i think we "wanted" that game more than they did and you could tell by the 50/50 balls. we always seemed to beat them to the 50/50 balls.
so i think we were more motivated because had we loss that game we would've fell a game and a half behind the buzzards and norfolk in the standings with only 2 weeks left in the regular season. but with a win, we bump the buzzards a half game behind us and place ourselves only a half game out of first place behind norfolk who has to make that florida swing this upcoming weekend while we play howard and umes at home.
there's a good chance that norfolk will lose at least one of those florida games, if not both just as we did. we only need norfolk to lose one of those games because we have the tiebreaker over them, but two losses would be better. i don't see a way in hail we should lose to howard or umes at home this weekend. so there's a very good chance that we can jump back up to first place by next monday night with only two difficult "road games" to play before tournament time. but first place should be at stake in our final two games and hopefully we can pull them out and get that top seed going into the tournament...
