Great start to season!
Recommendation: Our track teams need their own social media accounts for recruiting and marketing purposes.

man, just look at the top 10 company we're associated with? not a single "midmajor" there, much less a "lowmajor" or hbcu. i betcha everybody in the top 10 has a budget far greater than ours...

How does the travel to the Meets work? Are we trying to get a head-to-head race against a say,Top 4x100 team in order to improve our rankings? as opposed to going to a lesser status meet?
And do Teams still WIN meets like this...tabulated scores ect, like they do for the MEAC Title for instance?
I need more insight from the board.

Coach is basically trying to methodically prepare the team and individuals for conference championships, indoor nationals, but mainly to have them ready for outdoor season. Each meet allows each team member to meet qualifying times or rankings for each event. For example, for indoor the top 16 ranked participants (times or distance) for each event go to nationals. Once qualifying times or ranking are are met, you are able to compete in regional and national meets. Even the meets we host(outdoor) are used by schools to meet qualifying times. So the main purpose is not to "win" these meets as a team, but to slowly improve your performance so that you peak at nationals outdoor or for a few of our athletes at this year's Olympic Trials. And along the way win the MEAC again. Sometimes different team members are participating in two different meets in the same weekend based on the level of competition. Hope that helps.

Great start to season! Recommendation: Our track teams need their own social media accounts for recruiting and marketing purposes. They already had an Instagram account with a major following along with a Facebook account. They started a Twitter account back up today. But Instagram was really where they've been living. They've been seen for a while.
