Our Secondary will ha e to be much improved as well as our line offense/defense. The big challenge will be on defense being explosive and containing the opposition offensive schemes while using all arrows in our offense quiver. Of course we will have to be Discipline in all aspects on a d off the field.

We better make sure we have on our big boy pants from the first snap up in Fargo. NDSU was the statistical leader in a number of categories in 2019.

Yards Per Carry FBS: Clemson — 6.37 FCS: North Dakota State — 6.40 D2: Valdosta State — 6.80 D3: Birmingham-Southern (Ala.) — 6.62 NAIA: Bethel (Kan.) — 6.62
Passing Efficiency FBS: Alabama — 199.61 FCS: North Dakota State — 177.71 D2: Harding (Ark.) — 224.68 D3: Mount Union (Ohio) — 223.24 NAIA: Kansas Wesleyan — 188.62
Scoring Defense FBS: Georgia — 12.6 points per game FCS: North Dakota State — 12.3 D2: Harding (Ark.) — 12.3 D3: Wheaton (Ill.) — 8.9 NAIA: Grand View (Iowa) — 11.1

NDSU first option is always the Run . NDSU Avg 9.58 yards perpass attempt with there longest pass being 88 yard catch and run . 181.94 . Yards pergame passing on Avg . I wonder how Carter and our receivers Stacks up against NDSU stat wise . A&T needs to shutdown the run without stacking the Box , and make them one-dimensional . The Big Man up front will decide this game .

Well according to the Hopper app my flight to Fargo probably wont get any cheaper after today, so...
I AM OFFICIALLY BOOKED TO FARGO, ND for the "Brawl for it All". My hotel was booked a month ago, guess I'll go ahead and get the car now as well.
I also have an alarm set to order my tickets for the game as soon as they go on sale on the NDSU site on Saturday Auguat 1 @ 10am.
This is what Aggies Do.

It’s going to take some dynamic ish to beat NDSU, turning broken plays into positives, QB’ s escaping defensive overruns and being as much a threat as our RB’s, receivers making plays, Carter ish, The defense willing themselves to be supervious, special teams shock and awe!

We aren't rivals? Have no history between the schools? Aren't located in the same region? Aren't recruiting the same players? Outside of both schools being FCS...what do we have in common ?? Honestly I'd rather be playing a regional FCS or FBS program...but have fun in North Dakota.

i like the idea of playing ndsu because ndsu is "undisputedly" the best fcs program in the country. for me, this is a "measurement" game. this game will tell us how good we really are because ndsu is definitely the best.
of course i always call things the way that i see it, i'll always give it to you straight with no chaser even though i'm biased in favor of a&t. but i do not expect us to win this game, yet at the same time i will not rule out an aggie upset. obviously i'd luv to see us win that game because a win over the "8 time" fcs national champions in their home dome would really elevate our program.
but if we don't win, i'd be satisfied if we can keep the game competitive, let's say losing by 10 points or less. a 10 point loss on ndsu's home field would still send a message that we're not only hbcu good, but we're also fcs "nationally" good...

Man, we bout to unify the title. You have the 8X defending FCS National Champ vs the 4X defending HBCU National Champs. Both belts will be on the line. I think we'll fair a lil bit better than Mr. Wilder, however.

On paper it says we are playing another FCS team but in reality these guys act and play like a good FBS program. Let's hope they are more like Kent State than Duke!

Let's hope they are more like Kent State than Duke! lol, as our famous alum once quoted, "keep hope alive"! but to hope ndsu is more like kent state than duke is an unrealistic hope...

No No they not like Kent State at all.... They probably more equivalent to Tulsa however NDSU is consistently the same year in and year out cant say that for Tulsa. I know how we fared at Tulsa as I was at that game; however, we are significantly better than the Aggie team that played Tulsa....across the board in talent

NDSU when it comes to skill position players Recruite Nationally as needed even when it comes to the Lineman . NDSU has a meticulous way of recruiting that has worked wonders for there program on a National level .

The statement would mean something if our future was MEAC, as I’ve heard the GOAL is the FBS level of play, it goes through the FCS and then to the FBS, playing NDSU now gives us a person to person fact filled experience of playing in the FCS Championship. big South means we are playing for a FCS playoff spot and journey to the top, Guess whose waiting on us! If we can’t beat them why go to the FBS!
