NDSU sources have confirmed they are looking at playing us in 22 I was just about to text that we should be looking at getting an official postponement of this game (not a cancellation) and moving it to another year or two away from 2020.
I hope that they can work that out. My hotel has already given me the same rate for whenever the game will be played.

the "timing" was right to play ndsu "this season". we've won 3 consecutive cb's and bcf national championships while ndsu has won 3 consecutive fcs national championships and 8 out of the last 9 fcs national championships.
had we played ndsu this season, it would've been 3 consecutive bcf national championships versus 3 consecutive fcs national championships. 3 time defending bcf national champs versus 3 time defending fcs national champs.
well, all of that pageantry of a game will likely be "out the window" two years from now if we play ndsu in 2022. clearly we won't be cb champs 2 years from now and probably not bcf national champs either. and ndsu may not be fcs champs by then either.
so the pageantry of playing ndsu this season most likely won't be as profound (if at all) 2 years from now. too bad it couldn't be played this season because the "timing" would've been perfect...

According to multiple sources, the Missouri Valley Football Conference is likely going to announce this afternoon that they’re canceling their fall season.
This news comes after the Big Sky Conference (along with the CAA and multiple other FCS conferences) made the decision to hold off on football in the fall.
“If possible” the league would move to a six or eight-game schedule in the spring. Multiple factors including the national COVID-19 pandemic, athlete participation, and facility logistics will affect whether or not a spring season will come to pass.

AM is right...LOL!

Can we all just agree that there will be no FCS football until the fall of 2021? I don't care what anybody says, these FCS programs can't afford to have a player or coach die while playing football this season!

I don't care what anybody says, these FCS programs can't afford to have a player or coach die while playing football this season! With a player dying being the extreme . FCS programs can not afford to start and then turn around and stop if things go South . It is just not cost effective with to many unknown variables . The fall of 2021 would be the sensible choice to make. And try to recover what you can by with the spring sports with track and Baseball. There are money games in baseball to you know . The money is not big like in football but its better then nothing .
