Bison Top Opponents in 2020: Jah-Maine MartinAnytime a new opponent makes their debut in the Fargodome there's a level of curiosity from NDSU fans. Think Charleston Southern, Eastern Washington and Delaware. North Carolina A&T fits that bill this year and its star player, running back Jah-Maine Martin. Martin is a tremendous player, coming off a record setting season for the Aggies who claimed the Celebration Bowl for the third consecutive season. Martin is 5-10, 204 pounds and A&T is his second stop. He originally signed with Coastal Carolina out of high school and spent the 2016 season there rushing for 175 yards. He was dismissed from the team before the 2017 season because of some legal issues, signing with A&T before the 2018 season. He rushed for 656 yards and seven touchdowns that year, setting the table for a big junior season. 2020 Bison schedule preview: North Carolina A&T AggiesThe MEAC champions will make their debut in Fargo this September A&T has the reputation as "Tailback U". The Chicago Bears standout Tarik Cohen is an Aggies alum, who was a three-time MEAC player of the year. Jah-Maine Martin is hoping to follow in his footsteps. The Coastal Carolina transfer will be a senior this year and is primed for a monster senior season. As we previewed last week, Martin is coming off 1,300 yard, 23 touchdown season in 2019. He'll be fun to watch. This program is one of the top in the FCS you may not know off. The Aggies had a stretch of three straight FBS wins from 2016-18. They beat Kent State, Charlotte and East Carolina in successive years. 2017 they earned an at-large berth to the FCS Playoffs, losing to Richmond in the opening round. A&T will receive $240,000 for this game and a shot to prove they're ready for the big time of the FCS. Their record stands for itself at 31-5 over the last three years. For the rest of the story: www.inforum.com/bison-media-zone/6551800-2020-Bison-schedule-preview-North-Carolina-AT-Aggies#.XvYSc4Yxnik.twitter wow! these mofo's do their friggin' homework! i knew we are well known as "tailback u" amongst hbcu's, but as far out as north dakota too? obviously ndsu gets "top billing" in north dakota, playing them is a great way to expand our "brand". very wise "pr" move by earl hilton, our guys just have to uphold our side of the bargain...

Basically the MVFC said no fans in the stadiums this year. That's what I got out of today's statement.

On NDSU's website, they have the NCAT game marked as "Canceled."

There is a chance we play football in October but with everything going on this game (North Dakota) was never gone happen with Covid. Would not make any sense to travel that far and would not make any sense for them to host a school that is 1500 miles away.
Any and all games should regional / bordering state based.

I wonder if we can force ND State to pay us a cancellation fee? I would assume so but they didnt cancel the game. They are playing Drake the week before, I can only assume it says cancelled because as of right now the MEAC cancelled all football games.

I wonder if we can force ND State to pay us a cancellation fee? Only if we are prepared to play and they aren't (and the contract says so of course). I also wonder if NDSU got a cancellation fee from Oregon. Interesting.
