NDSU never sleeps on anybody. Trying to play it from the "they better not disrespect us" angle is going to get our a$$ kicked. They're a program so worrying about one qb won't make a difference in the grand scheme of things. I'll be interested to see how we match up. DOOMS - I don't know about that. Maybe they haven't slept on others but that "HBCU" thing might have them thinking we're "less than". Out of curiosity, how long you been following them? I actually had an NDSU sweatshirt when I was at Ayantee. Granted I got it from Marshalls to wear while I loaded trucks but I knew who they were from the late 80s when the dominated d-2 and followed them ever since. The culture of their program has been the same since Craig Bohl was coaching there. He brought that culture from his time at Nebraska coaching with Tom Osbourne. The culture has maintained since he left and his successor left. They run the ball, the have strong line play, and they prepare for the next opponent on their schedule. No bravado, no attitude, well-disciplined, fundamentally strong. They used to call Nebraska the "Big Red Machine." NDSU is kinda the "Big Green Machine." They're going to commit to running the ball on us and wait for us to make a mistake. Our athleticism should keep us in the game but our mouths can take us out of it. I do know that if the game happens they won't take us for granted at all. They're the best program in the history of I-AA/FCS football. They ain't get there by overlooking anybody.

I do not believe that we are going to show up to look respectable and collect a check for our bottom line sake. No we are in it for the win. We are mindful of the task before us. In the event of a controversial Aggie win what will this mean in the pantheon of sports history?

So according to AD Hilton's words on the Aggie Pridecast, NDSU has been reaching out to us to play us for years. Well now...

To be honest NDSU has been trying for years to schedule D-1 HBCU's for sometime. Whether people know this or not NDSU has recruited a number of players out of North Carolina over the years . With a few being from the Guilford County high schools region .

Here we go again, disrespecting our football program. What is normal? We can't be thinking scared or playing scared because we did not get to have Spring practice. They didn't either.
Damn some of yall act as though we are playing LSU, Clemson. Alabama or the Kansas City Chiefs.
In my best Allen Iverson imitation, it is NDSU not LSU we playing, we talking about NDSU not Clemson, we playing NDSU not Alabama, damn NDSU on our schedule not the Super Bowl Champs. WE TALKIN ABOUT NDSU.
We play the hand we are dealt, with Aggie Pride and Confidence no matter how bad or good the hand is.

gotta give them mofo's credit, they've created quite an "atmosphere" in that dome which is actually owned by the city of fargo, not ndsu. i think the ndsu game will be played as scheduled, but we shall see. its still a good 3 months or so away...
