I liked what I saw from him during the season but, it seemed that I didn't see him enough. He brings pop and feistiness to his game, and I love it. I'm trying to remember who he was playing behind...I know #20 was the strong safety, who else was the free safety? 20 (Najee Reams) was the FS, most of the time. Due to injuries, he also played CB quite a bit...sometimes good and sometimes not so good. Salahuddin played several positions (FS, CB & PR), including lining up at DE against Hampton for a few plays. I believe his biggest issue was changing positions from RB at Pitt to DB and not having played in a long time. Hopefully, the 2021 experience and time to figure out how to be a DB will pay dividends for a high level talent (4*) and he'll be a good asset for us going forward. Wait What...? Did you say he play defensive end at Hampton? If he did, no wonder we got smoked...sheez!!

I really thought he was going to be a high impact player last year but the change of position had an effect. I think we will see bigs things this year !!

It was quite prolific at Pitt as a RB....hope the coaches change him back to RB....think he was recruited as a RB at Pitt We will need that depth this coming fall.....

As the roster looks now, he might have an easier time getting on the field at RB than at safety.

I thought he wanted to switch positions ... Guess I was misinformed He was recruited by NDSU and the others as a RB and it was my understanding that he was recruited by A&T as a RB but they switched him for some reason my sources told me that it wasn't his choice .

I found him to be very physical in his moments on the field. He was flying around out there and was productive on special teams too.
