It looked like only one of them was at full camera speed. LOL, "Speed Turn" is a DB term for the maneuver he did. A WR tries to double move you and the DB counters with a "Speed Turn". I wasn't talking about the video speed, LOL. I know what a speed turn is. Look at the three that he did. The camera speed is not the same on each one. That may influence the ability to evaluate his execution or lack there of.

That's putting in work with ball skills. Is he gonna be a corner or safety because, he's gonna get a few picks this year. I see him at safety ; we are set at the corners . Unless he gets better his Hip movements are not fluid enough to play corner . He has a lot of technique work to do before he is ready . You can tell he is rusty . I see a Safety . Think his knee injury maybe a factor. Perhaps he may need to consider medical redshirt. May need to continue rehab and not be in a rush to the field. Get that knee fully rehab while getting class work done as things will work out in the end. This maybe the the rusty factor. Mind and Body have to be synergic to be fluid in movement. Not being critical nor hating on him but from observation this is my opinion. Also incorporate some water exercises walking in the pool then whirlpool that type of thing.

wow, its really bad when a transfer's video is all there is to talk about. i mean, no college sports nor professional sports going on right now. ain't jack to watch on tv but movies and documentaries. my live sports cravings are driving me crazy!! watching past game reruns just don't do it for me.
so i suppose being critical of a transfer's video is the best we can do for now. geeesh....

My bad if I misinterpreted what you meant. I know the speed was different, but I was just looking at the smoothness of his turns. That can be judged at any speed. But again, It aint that big of a deal cause its March and not really a true practice. I go back to my main issue just being the point of the vid? Not needed in my opinion. He at school, so just grind. Or do a little 5-10 sec letting every know you grinding and call it a day. Twitter man, it can be overused. Someone mentioned that he was injured. Was it last year? Maybe it was a "I'm back bitches" video? I know how that goes for sure.

Slightly stiff hip movement in his back pedal he has to reset hips coming forward that is why I see him as a safety or Rover type player . Dosen't appear to have the fluid hip movements to play corner . He has exceptional side to side rang and downhill movement from what I see from the tape that is why I can see him as a FS because of those factors. Unless he can show exceptional progress over the summer it would be a waste to have him play corner when he has the natural movements of a safety in my opinion. You just can not make a player into a corner with out some of the god given natural movements and abilities that cannot be taught but can be find fine-tuned .

I like that idea. That young man has some serious quick twitch.

The fact he's hungry, athletic, talented, and willing to wait his turn and fight for a spot speaks volumes. That's hard to find and shows he's gonna be very successful.

I liked what I saw from him during the season but, it seemed that I didn't see him enough. He brings pop and feistiness to his game, and I love it. I'm trying to remember who he was playing behind...I know #20 was the strong safety, who else was the free safety?

I'm trying to remember who he was playing behind...I know #20 was the strong safety, who else was the free safety? 20 (Najee Reams) was the FS, most of the time. Due to injuries, he also played CB quite a bit...sometimes good and sometimes not so good. Salahuddin played several positions (FS, CB & PR), including lining up at DE against Hampton for a few plays. I believe his biggest issue was changing positions from RB at Pitt to DB and not having played in a long time. Hopefully, the 2021 experience and time to figure out how to be a DB will pay dividends for a high level talent (4*) and he'll be a good asset for us going forward.
