Since our entire DL should be healthy; I think we will get 4-5 sacks and force a couple of to's interceptions & fumbles making points off to's the key to winning this game. While I think Alcorn will score we will score alot more. I think we will win by 17 or more points

The key to this game will be the play in the trenches . Our D-LINEMAN against there O-LINEMAN and there O-LINEMAN against our D-LINEMAN it's just that simple . A&T must not become one-dimensional by allowing Alcorns down lineman to shut down our running game there by freeing up the linebackers to drop into coverage . Now would be the ideal time to utilize our Big Running Backs to help wear down their defensive line putting a new twist and I'll play calling . Alcorns rarely Stacks the Box . It's been that way all season so there is no reason they will start now . I feel that Martin will have a good game but it all starts with the O-LINEMAN . The same applies for the defense . D-LINE applied pressure creates turnovers and takes pressure off the secondary freeing up the LB's to make plays in both the run and passing game . We know that Alcorn can pass but we can not afford to overlook their running game .

In my opinion, this will be our toughest test in the Celebration Bowl since the very first one in the Georgia Dome. Alcorn's OL is darn good. If we don't get pressure on their QB, we will be in for a long day. They also still have that RB Waller who we know is very talented. Alcorn had a 'spy' on Southern's QB the entire game. I can't remember what his name is but he was the MVP of the SWAC championship game in my opinion. So, offensively, we have to keep Carter upright and control the tempo. I'm not sure what our team's mindset is right now. But, I have NO DOUBT that Alcorn will play the redemption card & their players will be ready for us. They will only be two weeks removed from game contact where as we will have been without game contact for a month. Yes, we've been here before but they can say the same thing. I'm looking forward to a close & competitive game. We should win by a hair but our margin for error is slim... I wanted Southern to win because their QB wasn't an accurate passer and their coach wasn't that good. Unfortunately we got Alcorn and they have a better passing QB and a much better coach. Our defensive line was MIA in the pass rush against better offensive lines and our DBs were (let me be polite) suspect all season! They missed assignments and tackles. They usually let the receivers catch the ball and then tried to make the tackle. Not the best strategy! Since this was our pattern all season, I expect Alcorn to pass on us early and often. Unless their QB's arm gets tired, it's going to be a long day for our defense. As for our offense, I expect Carter will have the same game plan we had a SC State. Lots of QB draws and dink passes. That will keep the ball in our possession and eat up a lot of clock if we don't get behind. I'm sure they've seen lots of tape on Martin and will game plan to bottle him up.

I think that a lot of Alcorns fans will be leaving the reservation to head to Atlanta . I'm makinga prediction over 55K will show for this year's CB . Brother Saabman I hope you are right on with this which means they will have to open the upper level. Also hope that Ayantee wins big decisively to set the tone for next year which in my opinion will be not only The Year of Redemption but a raising of the bar for the football program.

On a side note.... The Alcorn BRAVES.... They consider their stadium the RESERVATION...... I can't knock the Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Chiefs, Florida State Seminoles or Washington Redskins without mentioning Alcorn. The RESERVATION as a nickname for their stadium? That's more than a bit too much when it comes to racial/ethnic insensitivity......I'm just sayin' No the Reservation is the name of the Students Newspaper not the Stadium . The stadium is named Jack Spinks and is apart of the Davey Whitney Complex . You sometime hear Students and Alumni refer to the campus as the reservation when greeting each other . The original name of the stadium was The Scalping grounds until changing back in the 70's .

I would like to go on record and say Kylil Carter will be the difference in this contest.
He will be lacing them up for probably the last time, definitely with this team, in a pseudo homecoming of sorts in his home state, in a game he had to watch from a wheelchair last season.
This young man will no doubt leave it all on the field and show everyone what "AGGIES DO".
LEGGO.

I hope Cater has a unbelievable game but it is nice to know that if he does not Jalen fowler I think can come in and really give us the passing game that we need and I will put ifedi in the game as well. there's no way that alcorn State can prepare for 3 quarterback that has different skill sets

I hope we only see Jalen late in the 4th quarter just to get his name in the record book. I want Carter and Martin to run up and down the field on these guys with an occasional quick pass to our receivers. If our running game is working, we'll keep their offense off the field and cut down on the bad things that can happen when you have to pass.

The tkts are going crazy fast. I see an Aggie Takeover. ABC won’t be the same. And the showcase of the University has been good (in the past). But we have much more to expose.
The Dawgs should feel slighted by all of the other players getting the awards and shine.
