National Power A&T Releases Track and Field Schedule

EAST GREENSBORO – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has seen its share of track and field programs that have grasped a time in history to dominate the conference. Rarely, however, has the conference seen the domination happen for the men’s and women’s programs at the same school over the same span.
N.C. A&T track and field is making history within the MEAC and they have a chance to make even more. The Aggies released their 2020 indoor and outdoor track and field schedules on Wednesday in what will be an Olympic year.
N.C. A&T is already the only MEAC school to win three straight conference indoor titles on the men’s and women’s side simultaneously. This season they will try to become the first school since S.C. State (1983-86) to win four straight outdoor MEAC titles on the men’s and women’s side simultaneously.
The indoor season opens during the 2019 calendar year as the Aggies open the season Saturday, Dec. 7 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. The Aggies will take off a month away from competition before they travel to Lexington, Ky., to participate in the Jim Green Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky, Jan. 10-11.
