GREENSBORO — N.C. A&T’s entire football season boils down to the next two weeks.

Win two games and go back to the Celebration Bowl for the third year in a row.

Lose one of them and football is almost certainly over until the Blue-and-Gold Spring Game.

The No. 25 Aggies (4-2 MEAC, 6-3 overall) host Bethune-Cookman (4-2, 6-3) on Saturday.

The winner keeps at least a share of first place in the MEAC standings among eligible teams. The loser heads into next week’s regular-season finale against its biggest rival with nothing to play for other than in-state bragging rights.

5 to watch: A&T's key role players in key game vs. Bethune-Cookman

GREENSBORO — It’s the biggest game of the season for N.C. A&T, a must-win against a fellow front-runner.

The No. 25 Aggies (4-2 MEAC, 6-3) will host Bethune-Cookman (4-2, 6-3) at BB&T Stadium at 1 p.m. Saturday.

A&T has just two games left in the regular season, and if the Aggies win both, they go back to the Celebration Bowl for the third consecutive year.

But if they lose one, chances are they miss the postseason entirely for the first time in five years.

A&T’s stars are obvious. MEAC leading rusher Jah-Maine Martin. Fifth-year quarterback Kylil Carter. All-time leading receiver Elijah Bell. All-America cornerback Mac McCain.

Picking up 4 Shelby high school students and a parent at 9:00 for trip to Aggieland. No stud athletes in the group but a few potential BGMM members. Not looking forward to sitting in the cold but hope the ride back home after the game is joyful.

Its real breezy/windy this morning but the threat of rain has diminished overnight. Partly Cloudy, Windy - NE 20 mph sustained gusting to 35-40, high temp 47. Make sure you have layers underneath and something on your ears and head to cut the wind. Gonna get cold after halftime.

The kicking game will be crucial.
