I agree it's a team loss, but in this league, the MEAC, our offense should put up 30 points by getting off the bus. i would agree, but our play calling was horrible. especially down the stretch during the last minutes of the game. we kept throwing hail mary's even though morgan's secondary had dropped completely back darn near in a prevent defense. all of the underneath stuff was "wide open". all we had to do was take what the defense was giving us and run out of bounds. we only had to go 50 yards for a game winning td. we had "plenty of time" to take the 6 or 7 yards a pop or more "wide open" underneath passes that the defense was giving us. and even if we couldn't get out of bounds, all we had to do was spike the ball. we had 4 downs to get a first down and morgan was virtually giving it to us but we didn't take it. instead, it was bombs away! right into the teeth of morgan's secondary. it was very frustrating to say the least... You act like Carter didn't have an option to take those underneath passes if he wanted to. Every pass play has multiple receivers that the QB can throw to. The 9 route may have been his primary read, but I am sure he had the ability to go to another receiver on those plays if he got a better look. Personally, I think Carter may have gotten a little gun shy with throwing into the middle of the field after those earlier interceptions.

Maybe what's at fault is the structure. I think we are overlooking a legitimate difference in the Broadway vs Washington structure. Is Coach Coard still the Co-Defensive Coordinator, if he is, is Coach Washington the other "Co"? It's my understanding Coach Broadway managed the team/program not Co-managed anything else. Maybe the offense is a step-child during the week. If this is the current management structure we going to have drives like this. Clock management and situational football is significantly more important on the offensive side of the ball, that seems to become recurring issue this season.
Ncat 1-10 at Ncat45 NORTH CAROLINA A&T drive start at 01:18.
Ncat 1-10 at Ncat45 10-CARTER,Kylil pass incomplete, QB hurry by 10-WASHINGTON,Malachi.
Ncat 2-10 at Ncat45 10-CARTER,Kylil pass incomplete to 13-BELL,Elijah.
Ncat 3-10 at Ncat45 10-CARTER,Kylil sacked for loss of 7 yards to the NCAT38 (28-KENNEDY,Rico).
Ncat 4-17 at Ncat38 Timeout North Carolina A&T, clock 00:57.
Ncat 4-17 at Ncat38 10-CARTER,Kylil pass incomplete to 30-MARTIN,Jah-Maine, QB hurry by 10-WASHINGTON,Malachi.
Now with that said, I firmly believe we have the right coaches and enough talent to be champions, but situations like this is how champions become champions., and we failed on Saturday.

But we did pick up 3 HBCU national titles in 4 years.
These guys didn't forget how to coach football in the last week.

A good QB coach doesn’t necessarily make a good OC. A good machinist doesn’t qualify someone to be a good supervisor.

THe right coaches? We didn’t pick up 1 yard in 4 plays. I liked how you parsed and harped on a single line in my post, but apparently missed the point. Now lets get clarification on your post, is it your point that the coaches haven't ever done a good job and should be fired immediately, or is it your point that coaches should be fired because they didn't pickup 1 yard in 4 plays? Is there any specific coach that should be fired? You do realize we needed more than one yard, don't you. If we had gotten one yard would that have made you happy, happier, or happiest? I also mention talent in my post, you elected not to address talent, I can only assume you are Ok with the talent? But did talent/execution have any bearing on the outcome of this game?

The Morgan lost was a tough one. However the negative chatter here contains too much cognitive dissonance. It is silly talk about firing the coaches. From an athletic point I think the scheduling with two bye weeks is a factor, including the game on Oliver C. Dawson/Willie Jeffries Field which in my opinion was a Pyrrhic victory. I have no animus against the 2019 edition of the football team nor the coaching staff nor supporting casts. There was something about the Morgan thing that just kept tugging at me as I kept hearing the trap game thing. As I see it these are things that happens so no need to panic just a matter of making an assessment and the proper adjustment moving forward. Get out of this blame game of berating the players after all they are some Mothers' children. Now since some like to compare with others we need more linemen like SC State size wise offensive and defensive with bigger defensive backs in the secondary and we will be the champions that we are. As a caveat, it is my opinion that Coach Washington's words after the Duke game at the luncheon wherein he told the truth and was fined for speaking truth to power has been the taint over the team from on high with the mess in Tallahassee being exhibition A as well as Orangeburgh being exhibition B. I think too many forget who we are and the meaning or rather the enigma of Ayantee. We got to have thick skins moving forward because there are a lot of back stabbers and smiling faces in high places where some Luciferians resides and that is all I am going to say for now and Inshallah will see you in BB&T/Aggie Stadium Saturday 16 November.

I think there have only been 2-3 "Washington sucks" posters. On a message board of hundreds I think that is a pretty good number. Cant please everyone. I don't think it should even be addressed when the number is so small. This team(players AND staff) is still supported and loved by the majority of people here. An overwhelming majority. With that being said, no one should be muzzled about what went down in a single game. We talk about victories, lets talk about loses just the same. We still support Aggie Football.

This would had never happen under Broadway. Cater played horrible. He had his worse game of the year. He is not a championship QB. Our defensive line is horrible Our Penalties was horrible look at the illegal motions. We are no where near a championship team. so if we suck for losing to morgan state last weekend, what was the "excuse" last year? i agree that carter did not have a good game (40% completion, 2 int's, 154 yards), but last year raynard was even "worse" (31% completion, 2 int's, 56 yards) and we scored fewer points (13). yet, raynard was a championship qb even though his performance was worse? look, we have loss to the exact same 2 meac teams as we did last year and by similar margins. only difference is we didn't have to replace 14 or 15 "starters" last year. so again i ask, what was the "excuse" last year? i'm not down with the "blame game". constructive criticism, yes. "blame game", no...

What Raynard didn’t doesn’t matter. Not sure why he’s being mentioned now.
This was not a game we were supposed to win. This was not a trap game. This was a game against a team that beat us straight up last year and man handled us while doing it. Said team returned 17 starters, we returned less than half that. Add all that up and records don’t matter at all. It’s unfortunate we failed to see that but it is what it is.
You give me a team with 17 returning starters against a team I beat at their house the prior year and they’re only returning 7 starters and just watch me whoop a$$.
