i can't make this trip, but i was there 2 years ago and enjoyed it. cohen was there 2 years ago too. that was the game when former scsu great and nfl "all pro" lb darius leonard darn near took both raynard's and carter's heads off on successive plays!!
first he put raynard on his back and put him outta the game. and then as soon as carter came in, ya know carter ran the ball on his first play and leonard "immediately" lit his azz up too! however, both raynard and carter "survived" those "violent" hits and we went on to win that game. hope the outcome is the same this year.
not looking pass scsu, that's for sure. but i'll definitely be at the morgan state game the following weekend, its an "easy" 45 minute drive from my house...

That was four years ago in 2015. Carter has not played against SC state since I know of. Two years ago Raynard was the starter and we beat SC state. |

Me and my wife are riding down to Orangeburg on the Queen City A&T Alumni bus. It was a great deal...$40 for bus and game ticket. See you guys there.
By the way, my local cable provider shows "The Buddy Pough Show" every Wednesday night. To my surprise, it's not that bad of a show. The game footage would be a hell of a lot better if they didn't have Amos and Andy calling the game but it's still entertaining to watch. Both Cookman and SC State looked awful last week. Buddy admitted that they tried late in the second quarter to blitz and put pressure on the QB and it worked. So all second half SC State blitzed a linebacker straight up the middle and he wasn't touched. Either Cookman's coaches are stupid or they don't have any plays to stop that.

I was at this game......Raynard did play in 2015 at SCSU.....he was getting hammered right and left in that game. He was 3 of 16 for only 14 yards, and was very ineffective. I remember Quick being hurt. We had to throw Carter in there because we had no other options. He threw that amazing pass to Khris Gardin to give us the lead in the game. You know I'm in there, what's the eat spots, I think I remember to a local golden corral type spot a couple years ago. Was a bunch of Aggies in there.
