My fellow Aggies, I humbly and gratiously would like to announce that I have acquired the business assets of Atrex Energy. We do renewable power sources in the range of 500W to 5kW, consisting of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells. More importantly, we have 650 units delivered between the US, Mexico and Canada for commercial applications. Link is www.atrexenergy.com. This will remain the link until we can migrate this website to our Special Power Sources website in the future. We are in the process of moving the assets from MA to OH. Update:
122 days later since the purchase, we have accomplished:
1. DOD contracts - $360K
2. DOE contract - $2.2M (Pending with expected mod - 12 Apr)
3. SBA loan approval - mar 2020
4. Pending DOD/DOE contracts - To be signed by 31 dec 2020, expected value of another $5M to $6M
5. Commercial manufacturing is limited but product redesign is now occurring, major contracts to be signed in early to mid 2021.
6. Only known small business majority owner for fuel cells - working that fact to my advantage for government contracts especially
7. No known effects from the coronavirus
So key take aways from this life changing experience: have a vision; followed by a strategy and a solid business plan! More importantly stay connected with your faith and give our Lord, all the credit as he will fill your storehouse and have it overrunning as long as you realize all things from him!
Peace and wanted to provide some positive news in light of what’s happening in the global pandemic!
