i think wilds-lawing will have a chance to play as a "true freshman", he should at least get in the 4 game minimum...

The love affair won’t last long...Fowler was a higher rates recruit yet they are ready to throw da baby out with the bath water. 🤷🏾♂️ Even though he played behind two 5th year seniors

I guess imma go ahead and say it now so I can quote it before the CB2020, Jalen Fowler is the guy who will lead this team back to the promised land in 2020. This staff has consistently done good work with the next QB up to lead this team. From Quick, yes I said quick because he was best suited for what we did at the time, to Raynard, to Carter, and now Fowler. He has been in this program for 3 years and this Barnette offense for 2. If past record is any indication to predict the future, than I trust this staff to have developed and continue developing Fowler leading into and through the 2020 campaign.
We may not like it but I foresee the offense being elementary to begin (nonconference) to allow him to gain confidence in handling and executing plays with some success. Once MEAC begins (first 4 conf games), the installation will continue weekly leading up to full installation for the stretch run, culminating with another 300 yd 5 TD performance in CB2020.
Lol, sound familiar, oh yeah that's what happened on 2019, when we were all wondering how we would fair following the graduation of Mr. Raynard.
Let's go.

I personally want to be wrong about Fowler, but the body of work, and instincts is all I can draw from, there’s a small sample of work, nothing dynamic in it. I have to compare him to his predecessor, who was dynamic in some form or fashion even with his small body of work, prior to starting. I never had a concern about Carter!

Fowler already had a 3-3 77 yard game this season as well as a 5/6 105 yard game with 2 TDs when Carter went out early. He’s shown he can throw the ball and MEAC coaches know that.

I hear what you are saying but, to me he should know the playbook backwards and forwards. Spring he should be working on execution and timing. I don't think we should have to wait until the season before we see decent execution. I would hope it happens this spring.
