EAST GREENSBORO – For the second consecutive week, North Carolina A&T senior G’Jasmyne Butler (Raleigh, N.C.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) women’s cross country runner of the week, announced by the conference Wednesday. Butler won her second consecutive race by winning the HBCU Challenge by eight seconds. Butler posted a 5k time of 18:55.2, the third-fastest time in the MEAC this season. She averaged 6:05 per mile and was three seconds off her best time. Last week, Butler won the 5k Greensboro Cross Country Invitational in 19:23.5, which resulted in her winning women’s runner of the week, days later.
