I think we will be just fine with are without Newton as lone as the O-D lineman play well because that is where that game is going to be won . Don't get me wrong Newton would be a nice addition but he is not the saver that people make him out to be because if the line can not move people to run are protect in the passing game so he can throw Newton will be just another QB To be truthful I would take the new HU QB , The kid from SCSU over Newton . But I'll stick with what we have on campus now . If we get him fine if not fine but as for me if we win that game are not it will all fall on the LINE play on both sides of the ball. Do you really think their defensive front is as good as Duke’s? Yes!

It speaks volumes about A&T's football program when we see plenty of our student athletes graduate early each year but decide to stay with the program and use their final year of eligibility rather than going somewhere else. They have options and all not athletic in nature. We must be doing something really right to earn that kind of respect and loyalty from these young people.

They have options and all not athletic in nature. We must be doing something really right to earn that kind of respect and loyalty from these young people. Not only are the coaches and staff "doing something really right" but also the student advisors and classroom instructors. Our football players are getting their academics completed and deciding to stick around to play and continue to go to class! Man, I couldn't wait to graduate and get the heck out of those classes. So I think that these kids are having a much better experience than I had here and that's great.

And like oleschool mentioned on another thread, that's why you have to take everything that happened in the second half with a grain of salt.
Them dudes were in quit mode.

Does Prince survive all the turmoil? Both Howard's short and long term football program is on the line and solely depends on how their administration answers that question at season's end.

I hope A&T is not trying to become SAVE A HO U. To many transfers may cause some friction between you're high school recruiting base .
