I think anybody looks good running the ball against an already defeated DSU team that has no idea who you are and what you're bringing to the table.
In other words, rein in your expectations a little bit.

OK lets put this to rest Ifedi is not a running back period and he will never be and effective RB because he has No Idare how to protect his self by running behind his pads . Carter would be a better candidate because he knows how to make his package small and runs behind his pads in attacking the defender . Ifedi just runs with no intent .A good linebacker or D-lineman would take his head of because he also runs slightly high . Also do not think that because he is 215lbs that he can be effetive as a back . Ifedi is a RPO QB and that is where he should stay . I made a fairly good living as an recruiter and I can promise you this . If you give Ifedi 10 touches as a running back against say a SCSU , BCU ,FAMU or NFSU or anyone with a fair Defense Fowler will be your number 2 for the rest of the season. The OC/QB coach should get Fowler up to speed . Now can we put this to sleep .

Hope so. Tired of Monday morning quarterbacks and know it alls.
Idefi should be the backup qb and they should be getting him ready to take over next year.
Through with this topic!!

MY HUMBLE OPINION: I think, if given a (true) chance, Kingsley could be one hellava quarterback for A&T! The kid has mad skills; he just need confidence!!

It may honestly be time to revisit this concept.
There has got to be a package of plays that can be designed for this guy who is clearly one of the better overall athletes on this team. His balance on that TD run is not something you can teach either you have or you dont. Plus hes got the physical stature to make those runs against the MEAC smaller defenders as well as speed to run away we needed.
I known it's been in garbage time when he comes in but teams know he is not going to throw the ball but still have yet to contain him on the read options.
With another off season, if he can clean up his mechanics and mental part of reading defenses we may very well have us a dynamic duo next season at signal caller. Time will tell.
Barnette has a full cupboard with a bunch of high end ingredients, wonder if he can cook up some Ruth's Chris next season. Because do I need to say it again, we need to come out with full playbook for "the game." Not the watered down preseason stuff we typically use.
It's all about "the game"

Kingsley Ifedi is a dual threat QB that will challenge for the starting QB position next year.

Last week against BCU, Fowler felt like he could be "the guy". This week Ifedi felt like a better runner than Fowler.

I now feel real good about the QB position for next year. Before the last couple of games I wasn’t too sure.

It's the Thanksgiving holiday --- let's be thankful that we have both Ifedi and Fowler in the fold for next year. The QB outlook for next year clearly is not looking as worrisome as we thought it was at the start of the year.

We have what we HAD in Lamar and Carter. Also, remember how Lamar worked over the off season and came back really throwing dimes? Man we are not in bad Shape.

Yesterday...it was hard to tell if we were that good or they were that bad. But, it's time to prepare for the RPO to the 2nd power in Alcorn.
