thanks. Now I've mussed my trousers.
I hate him. I hate him for ever coming down from planet breakatackleiss and gracing us with his skill. Why did he have to leave us?
I know, eligibility and stuff, but still. We built a whole damn team around him.
Now the new kid looks real good (the only back since Hicks left to average over five a carry) but we're so busy taking transfers and recruiting others he'll probably end up at Central or something.
Maybe Mo and Serena Williams will have a love child and send him to A&T.

Hey Dooms, Have you cleaned up yet? If not, here is another clip. www.ncat.edu/~dtoler/hicks.asxThrilla, you can put this on the BDV server, if you want.

Two things about this clip.
1) Whoever was wearing #13 for us needs to come back and be our new receiver coach. He could definitely teach our current guys a thing or two about downfield blocking.
2) Did you see how Mo broke an arm tackle and then used that final speed burst to pull away for the last FAMU defender? That is was spearates Mo from ever other mere mortal who ever played running back at A&T.

Hey man,
I can't get get my work done for watching these darn clips. They almost bring tears to my eyes.
I have an idea. The school should sell authentic #22 football jerseys with Hicks name on them. Hell I would buy one. Anyone who remembers the monster that Hicks was should want one too. Heck I would just like a shirt with his number on it in bold across my chest and back? Then, any fan in the know would recognize who's number you were wearing.

The problem is getting downfield in the first place. Speight was the only guy that could consistently break runs downfield. 2) Man, I coulda broke that weak a$$ arm "tackle." Granted, I wouldn't have been able to break out of that pileup at the line {DOOMSDAY carries for no gain on the play} but if a fool tries to tackle me with his fingernail I ain't going down.

It was #22 with no name on the back. Not authentic, but still sweet! I would love to have one myself....if for no other reason than to give FAMU fans nightmares!

Popdad; The tight end you're talking about is Craig Thompson,he holds records for TD receptions (10, season) and (19, career) He played in the early 90's.

No diehard Craig Thompson was #85 and played before 88. 88 is the one that picked up the on-side kicked and returned it for a td in the FAMU homecoming game.

That was Marcus Bryson you're talking about. He was a transfer from ECU and really had a nice set of hands for a big man. I've never understood why Hayes didn't use him more. At times dude was unstoppable.

Yeah Thrilla, that's the one. I felt like he had as much pro potential as Craig Thompson and many other's.
